The game is super buggy, has way too many glitches. Told to Verify files.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is probably the most buggy AC game ever. Quests, world events, collectibles, secrets are all affected by it. Ubisoft employees say the same thing when assisting you with anything also. Instead of admitting they did a **** job on this game and rushed to get it out before games like Cyberpunk came out to steal their glory. The game in every way feels like it isn't finished. Quests play out poorly, and half the time you have to reload a save to get it to reset because of a bug. I do have a college degree, but i know that "VERIFYING GAME FILES" has absolutely nothing to do with game bugs like that If the game didn't download files properly then the game would crash, freeze constantly, or just not play at all. It wouldn't play and just have stupid bugs that made it where characters get stuck, stories don't progress and stuff like that. That is bad game design and lazy *** developers that just wanted an early paycheck before a game that has been anticipated for longer comes out to steal their thunder. Ubisoft employees you guys are greedy, ignorant, lazy, and stupid. This game had the potential to be something amazing, but you ****** it up. You released it with all the problems it has. It isn't just bugs and glitches either. The whole game feels unpolished and untested. I guarantee if i had tested this game in the state it was in i would have never given it my approval. I would have brought all the bugs, glitches, and bad gameplay designs to your attention and suggested for a lot of polishing and fixes to be made before releasing it. You literally have bugs in the game that make where you cannot progress, find certain items and wealth and collectibles. Then even the gameplay aside from the bugs and glitches is just bland and boring as hell. So with all the problems the game has which has NOTHING to do with "VERIFYING FILES" is simply put as unfinished and rushed to release to beat a potentially better game that is coming out in the month this game was expected to release which is in December. Stop telling players to verify game files and admit that you guys are lazy, greedy, and ignorant. I really wish i had something nice to say and believe me when i say i am holding back of what i really wanna say about this game and you people that are behind it. Let's just say that if i was the boss and this was the product you put out as my employees you'd all be fired instantly. My suggestion and feedback is that i feel that game developers as a whole a getting to be more and more greedy instead of trying to be creative anymore. Most are hopping on the train that others have got on which is trying to put out as many games as possible and hoping that one of them is successful. There just isn't anymore integrity or creativity anymore. It is like Doctors and Lawyers. People aren't trying to get these careers to help people anymore they are getting them to make money period. This is starting to happen in games now. EA, Epic Games, Bethesda, Bioware, and now Ubisoft are on the sellout ranks with micro transactions, collabs, mashups, and early releasing unfinished games and selling them at full price with the intention of releasing DLC to fix issues, content, and other stuff that could have easily been added in the original game just to make more money. Here is my suggestion to gamers as a whole. DO NOT BUY games on release anymore, never buy a game that is EARLY ACCESS, and never pay for DLC. Teach the developers a lesson that will hit them where it hurts most their wallets. If you Developers want to make money then put out good products period. Otherwise get out of the gaming industry. Games are only worth anything if they are good. Stop making excuses, stop blaming the players and their consoles or PCs and admit that you are the problem. AC Valhalla could have been a great game, but greed, arrogance, ignorance, and laziness destroyed it. Now the only thing that can be done to fix it is to redo the game completely. Make a patch that completely fixes everything that is broken, NOT a DLC we have to pay for either a free UPDATE. Because if i see a DLC come out that asks me to pay $20 or more that is suppose to fix any of the issues the game has i will promptly delete the game and never play another AC title again. Thanks Ubisoft for ruining one of my favorite series with your stupidity, incompetence, and greed. I hope the lot of you lose everything that you have made up to this point and end up begging people for support in he future and i hope no one does.

    Unplayable AC Valhalla

This game is close to being completely UNPLAYABLE.
-First I lost more than 7 hours of Gameplay due to the saves bug that caused most gamers to even lose a whole day's progress, more than 20 hours for some people.
-Secondly, I was stuck on the Blood from Stone quest due to the moving object bug. Could not move the object to enter the room. In the end I spend 1 hour running and sprinting on the wall and successfully glitched it out, meaning I actually went through a wall!
-Thirdly during the War Weary quest Ivar glitched out and froze, moving arround like he was on rollerscates, making it impossible for him to help me force open a door needed to progress on the quest. Long story short I had to quit the game and lost half an hour of gameplay
-I ain't gonna start talking about the AI that makes absolutely no difference if you play as male or female. All dialogue options are the same! That's just laziness! Pure lazy developers! You play a shield maiden and it makes no difference on the dialogue and how people talk to you!
-Combatants and soldiers glitch out and start spinning on the point! Spinning like rollerblades!
-Mtysteries bugged out twice and I had to load a previous save and try again!

All that and I only have 50 hours of gameplay. Not even halfway through the game yet!
    THIS IS EMBARRASSING!

Hey there DarkRaven_Wolf, Ciroc420, and DarthGregum! I sincerely appreciate your detailed feedback on the game, but I am terribly sorry that you've run into frequent issues throughout your gameplay. Please know that for many players' issues that are brought forward, it is necessary for us to cover basic troubleshooting before diving into anything further, or providing a report to the dev team if basics haven't been covered. I would like to welcome any other suggestions that any of you may have to be shared in our Assassin's Creed Valhalla Community feedback forums here . Thank you!

    Xbox oneX - Disk version

I unistalled the game and reinstalled with disk to patch 1.01 - Blocked the Internet and launched the game hoping that it will let me progress further, as we know that patch 1.02 caused the issue with blood from stone
Unfortunately when I launched the game all my saves were displaying Data Corrupted so I had to update to 1.02 in hope of rescuing my saves. Luckily my manual saves were fine after this.(manual because we have the whole save game bug as well).

The above was done twice. But none of the issues were resolved
