I Think That Nobushi is great but There is a major issue of her getting pwned Constantly due to haveing small Health and Stamina pools she either needs to have Stamina Regeneration added to her Special Stance or a couple moves that drains her opponents stamina and a larger health pool is a must.... If these were added she would be As equally dangerous as the rest of the Roster... It would also stop alot of light and bash spam..Also Maybe a Parry Punnish like JJ's Choke or an exterior punish, superior Block punish like Valkerie or Arochis Deflect. Like she is a great toon but she has to dodge so much due to having low health and she runs outta stamina fast id be Satisfied with just a Special stance that regens stam but ive mained her. Id love to here what the community thinks.
Giving her cheaper stamina costs for hidden stance would probably be the easiest and most ideal fix since they already removed the delay of it returning after she leaves it. I feel like stamina regen would be a bit overboard for her stance since she's not meant to sit inside it like Highlander is. Still, even with that fix hidden stance has other problems. Design intent is hard to descern. Either HS is a pure defensive tool and the options she uses out of it are purely meant to be different punishes dependent on the situation.
OR it's meant to be an offensive and defensive tool. If it's the former than her flow after HS needs to be improved so her gameplay isn't so flat. If it's the latter it needs major changes (probably in the way of move properties) in order to actually work as a mix up/offense tool as well. Side note but I think heros like Nobushi and Shinobi lack a design direction or at least a very clear/definable one. That or the concept of the hero was very ill defined. Making it difficult for them to adjust the heros to make them viable still stick to their "identity."
I would accept the fact it would be over board if it werent her main move for Offence and defence also id love the idea of stam cost reduction if the dodge property was also put inrto a lower stamina cost because if not it defeats the purpose of being able to dodge when outta stam and not special stance id like to use her main defencive properties specially when the time calls for it when stamina diminishes.If the Special stance were to have no cost i think this could work as well...but Nobu is not even really meant to be in toe to toe combat when she is if you were smart you would just dodge block parry till somebody came to aid accept for the very few characters who fall under her in the Rock Paper Scissors Scenario. She is a support character meant for running capping and reviving in a very fast manner then returning to the groups core fighters and doing as much damage on the exterior and healing a bit and planting bombs where nessacary like in the zones she capped so when she goes back to recapp her enemies arent in full health. And I Totally Agree 100% That her Stance should be more offencive with mix ups this is why it should be more like JJ's because he can throw zones in the opposite direction from his stance from the way they are originally thrown... Nothing about Nobu's Stance seems hidden to me this is why i call it special stance I wont call it Hidden Stance untill it starts acting as such... She could learn alot from JJ's whole moveset from his dodge left or right heavy feint into oppposite light to his shin kick and parry slap which both drain Stamina.
