If you were able to put your weapon away and fight with hand to hand combat and disarm your opponents and use theyre weapon for a short while untill a clock ran out and they got it back after....it could give players a new thing to do upgrade hand 2 hand and diferent weapon skills...or you could go another way making so they couldnt get a weapon back till they disarmed one back or found one on the map somewhere... There could be a whole new game mode dedicated to this to test it out.
I know im thinking way to far ahead but idk its just another thing i thought of or maybe there could be a new hero dedicated to disarming peaple as a moveset or feat and the character would just run outta stamina till they got their weapon back having to do nothing but try to block/parry because they couldnt swing cuz their weapon was gone till their stamina regenerated.
I also think by making this character playable it would get everbody ready for a more mmo style of gameplay if this is the direction they would like to bring 4h... Cuz if they were disarmed they would want to throw punches and they would sure wonder what was goin on with the weapon this would totaly open everybodies eyes to be ready for everything in the OP. That is if Ubi was prepared to make another mmo. Which personally i would absolutely Love.

what are you trying to change here exactly. Will every op have a List of new combos or do they all share the same moveset? will the disarmed individual be given a new list of button configurations or will combos string together like they would if I were not disarmed. Will they be weaker once disarmed, . I like the idea of hand combat, I think it could fit in well here. They're pretty close as is with the Gladiator and Centurion, those guys move like bar fighters. It's kinda weird how they move and look on the battlefield. I would just hate for a disarming spammer to glorify his abilities in getting my weapon within two seconds everytime we meet and than I'm just a bug waiting to be squashed. Id hate to go that route of just flat out being not good. But if you take a sword away from somebody in a sword fighting game, well.
Well yes and no they would have all the same button presses for attacking lights and heavies bashes but they would be with hand 2 hand and alot less damaging the combos could even be the same...but they would be callled somthing else while being disarmed but look alot different with kicks and punches and of course alot weaker... I just thought of this...the person who disarmed the weapon would get to throw 1 Heavy or 2 lights with the weapon they disarmed with the same amount of damage as the enemy would do with whatever attack they chose according to who they disarmed the weapons from and then they would throw the weapon off to the side...and these are the options I just came up with you choose...The person who was disarmed would have to fight to go get the weapon back or in my case be redy to disarm it right back as soon as it was taken or have to fight untill a timer ran out and they just got it back.. .also they could be ready to grab off the ground as fast as the guy threw it after he attacked with it or chose to throw it...what do u think?.......This would Also stop all 4 of enemy players from hitting you around like a ping pong ball..if there were an option to just throw the weapon once you disarmed it...then doing the same thing a few more times.....Okay imma run threw all the options real fast....when you Disarm You Can 1. Throw The Weapon On the Ground 2. Get one heavy or two lights Then it Gets Thrown Automatically...and this one i just came up with...3. Throw the Weapon at the enemy trying to hit him but if blocked or parried they get it back... Same with number 2. If blocked or parried they get it back...also you have to have your weapon put away to disarm your enemy... You will be able to do so by parrying then pressing X like JJ's Slap choke stamina drain.
