After clicking the final quit game, the game freezes but I can still move the mouse. I think you need to play for a while before this occurs. Is it me or is there a degradation in performance after update 11.1?

Did you mean when the game ask if you really want to "quit the game?" pop up window?

Yes there are currently some performance issues with the game (stuttering/freezes) which users are acknowledging here in the forum. Ubisoft need to address this.

Yes the pop up window. I ran chkdsk /f on the game drive, and this may have fixed it. It was able to quit without problem for one time. The bug still happens.

Today I had 2 huge stutters, the fps dropped like crazy. It wasn't like this before.

The freeze happened again after clicking "quit game." The mouse and sound continue to work.

I ran SFC /scannow that fixed some error, and the last quit game was successful.

With DX11, the game stutters and freezes during quit game. The game froze again after clicking quit game, sigh.

I switched to DX12, and bam the quit game freeze does not happen. Also, DX12 does not crash to desktop and stutter. I had a limited test.

After a second test, I played more than an hour with DX12, and there is no stutter, crash to desktop, or quit freeze. I won't be using DX11 anymore.

After a third test, DX12 crashes with no stutter. DX11 still has quit freeze and stutter.
