Okay ive Seen Multiple Cases of Games who have upset long time Fans who were so happy with the way things were going OR they want a Drastic Change of some kind to Boost the game Forwards by leaps and bounds...Then the devs do something either messing up or doing a great job or just getting mixed messages....like in the case of GTA devs added a UI where you could Disable Auto aim when they added 1st person Seperating players with auto aim toggled off or on...Or Where Blizzard Made Dedicated Servers For The Longterm Dedicated fans of Wow Who Just Wanted The game to be like it was in the 90s when it was 1st released and times were easy...so they could finally get a taste of the game they fell in love with so long ago. When these things were done they still had all the things they worked so hard on and everthing that the fans wanted so much it was fair and we had choices to play the game diferently if we wanted...they also got to keep all their fans new and old....pretty much what im saying is Adding an option in The UI to toggle the CCU on and off and seperating all the players who have it on from the ones who have it off would be a Great Option for Everyone involved... Or you could go the route of making an old school dedicated lobby that just kept recycling the same old updates from yesteryear ofcourse with maybe some new cosmetics . I would like to know what everybody thinks bout this...I Personally dont care that the CCU was added but i aim to please.
That's essentially asking them to maintain 2 versions of the game. Something that won't happen because they already said they don't want to balance platforms seperately. Long time running franchises often make drastic changes to make the series modern and accessible in order to constantly keep an inflow of players. This naturally upsets some long term players and they leave. It's unfortunate but doesn't indicate an actual problem.
The same thing can and does happen to fighting games. Sometimes they add in completely new mechanics/rules to spice up the multiplayer to make it feel fresh. And it pushes some away. People have argued since the game started about certain changes to the heros or the game itself has "ruined" what FH was for them. The CCU is no different. There's no reason to go backwards in anyway. If someone is bouncing out post CCU and they're a long time player they've more than got their money worth. So it's not a loss for them if the game no longer holds their attention.
Running 2 Versions of the game thats not exactly how it would go down it would take no more than 45 mins for one person to add a toggle with 2 links into the UI off toggle link would send all players who switched it off to pre CCU. The Toggle on link would send players to post CCU. The pre CCU side would basically run itself it would use the same patch updates that they already used before CCU was released...it would be a Copy and paste job.....by no meens would anybody see 2 versions of the game... That would be like saying ppl were running a different version of the game cuz somebody mapped their button layout differently.. And the long term players got their moneys worth??? Imagine that as Ubisofts Moddo instead of "Passionate Players make Games Better."Originally Posted by Knight_Raime Go to original post

I believe others have mentioned it in the comments, but having non-CCU lobbies would essentially require the devs to create two entire builds of the game, and have each one on its own server. That's not entirely feasible, but I would be interested to hear any balancing suggestions you have surrounding the Core Combat Update as a whole.
I have mention how this could work as well in the comment above it wouldnt even have to be represented as two versions of the game by adding the two ideas together that were in the OP it could just be a UI option with the guy that makes server updates to make sure the servers are doing fine every time he does maintainance...how much does a server channel go for nowadays to just copy and paste old content on? ...but right balancing is what everone should be doing not complaining i agree...Here Ya Go My Friend.....https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...-W-Poll-ForumsOriginally Posted by UbiYubble Go to original post

And also im sure more than 75% of the community hasnt even seen the full processing potential of the ccu me being one of them....im sure everything is going to work out with good inputs and frame rates on next gen consoles i can see why ppl are so upset tho and this is why with the xbox one for honor running at 30 fps and there inputs being bad in such a fast paced update that shoulda scared em to death to begin wit...only the most hardcore and tournement style pvp games run this fast and honestly I know that Ubi want 4h to be this exactlty and i cannot believe so many ppl hav been so rude about it...I honestly cant wait till i get my next gen console and get the update coming to see its full potential with running 60 fps i think alotta ppl might just be sticking their foot in their mouth about the CCU cuz i can see that it was to make it more tournement based. But ive been around tournement based games for quite a long while and i really dont know if the CCU was to just try and hold ppl over with their complaints about spam by adding more relistic delays speeds to compinsate for poor inputs due to xbox controllers untill next Gen realease or try to get them used to fast paced style b4 plunging them into next gen but id have to say it was pretty good damn timing if you look at the scale of things like i siad in a previouse thread that i trust that Ubi knows what they are doing and i believe they have put there heart and soul into this game i believe everything they add to their game has a purpose or will further down the road.
Heres the link im....I am Sorry if i have upset anybody in this thread these were not my intention my goal was to find middle ground between The Folks who Disagree with The CCU and Explain to Ubi what possibilities i could see happening and try to put a little knowledge in both parties ears....Anyways...https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...with-this-game
