Wither Either way it's removing content from the game/devaluing it regardless of whether or not it "fit Ghost Recon" or not, there should be compensation of some kind.

FWIW I submitted a CS ticket on the subject; asking what "exactly" is going to take place and what might be the compensation to the community in return.

Have they told you to check your drivers as one of their response yet?

I bought the most expensive edition of WL and I got a few things of that pack, I surely hope I'll get some sort of compensation as well.
Since credits can be acquired (albeit in small increments) from playing the game via prestige crate duplicates, it wouldn't surprise me if Ubi uses that excuse to not give us jack squat.

If all else fails, I can just pause the update that removes the Predator content from the game (assuming that's how it will be removed) and not have to worry about losing anything.

At least in Brazil, that mentality (which, in some cases is ubisoft mentality) is completely illegal.
And to sell their products here they have to conform to our laws.
That is why I'm finding really strange this whole removal thing.
If they are going to remove, something for which clients in Brazil paid for, by our consumers right code, they are obligated to reimburse.
I don't even bother to read any EULA that comes with games, because in Brazil they are all illegal.
Anything here that gives you the option to forfeit a right, is illegal, therefore can't be accepted as a valid contract.
If they try to enforce on it, the company can suffer legal consequences by our government.

Yeah, basically switch to off-line mode when you wish to play Wildlands.

I paid money for those and if they're taken away, I better get some ******g compensation for it!
    Exactly, what about the pack?
This removal raises questions also about what will happen to the Terminator content in Breakpoint in the future.
Not that I'm that much interested by this kind of crossovers in Ghost Recon, but it's still content that may or may not be removed one day...

Hopefully it's just a matter of simply renaming most of the items (e.g., Billy's Hat to "Folded Boonie Hat") to remove the Predator connection, leaving only the Predator-branded t-shirt, Predator wrist blades, and tattoos requiring removal. And if that's the case, they should at least include an equal number of new free cosmetic items as replacements for them.

I did what MikeWeeks did and opened up a support ticket. The response said they'd "forward it to the proper individuals for review." Probably a canned response, but ce la vie as the saying goes.

I do wonder if this news has some relation to the news that the next Predator movie is now in the works under Disney's 20th Century Studios?
