    What you gaming/playing this Christmas?

I will probably be playing the following:

Call of Duty Cold War (not my type of game but oh well)
Forza Horizons 4 (was late getting this)
Cyberpunk (not really a fan of single play games but oh well)
    Immortals (looks fun)

Oh and a bit of TD2 here and there

    Been a costly christmas

    2 x 4k 28 inch monitors for my 8 & 15 year old
    3 x Arctis 7x headphones for me and my 22 & 26 year old
    2 x Turtle Beach 700 GEN 2 for my 8 & 15 year old
3 x Xbox Series X for me and my 8 & 15 year old (my other two kids bought their own)

And lots of different various games.

The Xbox's all nicely wrapped for Xmas:

Not trying to spoil the Christmas, but if you haven't already placed 3 xboxes on your internal network and verified they can all work simultaneously in the same games without issues you might want to look at that between now and then.

Ideally, you want all the consoles to detect "Open" NAT and not "Strict" or "Moderate". Even if there are no problems, such as only one being able to connect at a time, if the nat type is not open you might find that same games you can't join other's games unless they are "open".... and if you are "strict" and they are too, you just can't play together.

Depending on what router you use, it may or may not be able to work with multiple consoles. If that is the case, then perhaps you should stuff your stocking with a pfsense appliance (or a box capable and running the CE). Because I can vouch for multiple xbox'es behind pfsense and working and getting "open" nat. It isn't out-of-the-box, and takes some configuration, but it isn't rocket science and works well.

It' all good, we all have Xbox One X's at present and are all working great and are all open nat......Plus i'm pretty good with all that stuff, bit of a tech head.

After i stopped playing TD2 about 6 months ago I purchased Ghost Recon Breakpoint which I really enjoyed, so much so I bought the DLC and completed that too. I enjoyed the game so much that after completing it I decided to give GR Wildlands a go which is what I'm currently playing. Really enjoying that game too and once I've completed the base game I will buy the DLC for it too.

Once I've completed the DLC will probably drop back onto Breakpoint as a huge new update was released for it recently which I want to check out. Not too bothered about getting a series x just yet as there are no big new titles for as yet which I have to say I find surprising so may try a couple of game pass titles to pass the time until there is something worth playing on the series x.

Don't really want to spend any money on xbox one games as it's now last generation. So will have a few games to keep me going over xmas and new year until microsoft pull their finger out and release something new and worthwhile on the new powerful console.

PS I havn't experienced a single bug in either Ghost Recon Breakpoint or Wildlands, not one. Very refreshing to play games where one is not constantly looking for workarounds every 10 minutes.

I don't have Breakpoint yet but I have tons of time in Wildlands. I've found bugs in Wildlands but not a single one that interferes with game play. Little things like the rotor disc on helicopters is always there. Like, if you launch your drone next to a parked and idle helicopter, it will be destroyed by the rotor disc even though it's not spinning.

The gun play is amazing though. Gravity is unrealistic in vehicles but it's still fun to drive. Some loot is really well guarded but worth the fight or the hour of stealth to get.

The tier 1 program was too grindy though. I did it. I had to have that Bad News LVOA-C but it was too much busy work with an entire living world of legendary NPCs on steroids. lol

I'll probably play Cyberpunk but I'll let it launch and air out a bit first. I'm not chomping at the bit for it.

You see, I'm one of those weirdos that thought The Witcher 3 was just good. lol
