    Killing Joe Ferro Question?

Having started the game again I just completed the Napalm Plant mission where you kill Joe Ferro at the end, I seem to recall that you could shoot him in the back and one of his tanks blows up giving him substantial damage. I shot him at close range with my shotgun a few times in the back and then used my sniper rifle to hit the tanks on his back but no explosion. Has anyone else noticed this, has it been changed. Makes him a lot harder to kill.

Weak points are on the side, you may do a better job with an AR or SMG.

You probably didnt shoot it enough. Boss weakpoints tend to have ALOT of hit points. It does take awhile to blow those up. Being your low level, yeah, your damage isnt jack.

If he is like the cleaner boss in the LZ in the basketball rink, he has 3 weakpoints. A large tank on his left side (while facing each other), a grenade explosives pack on his right side hip, and a small tank slightly angled across his back up by his shoulders. Note that the tank on his left hip has a wrap around the lower 3/4 or so that acts like armor. Aim for the exposed red portion on top.
