Sorry to bother you guys, but I was hoping to get some advice from the forum tech-heads:
Can anyone recommend a good set of computer speakers in the $150 to $200 price range?
Preferably a 3 set system (including sub-woofer) that would be used for music, not PC games.
Thanks for any advice! (and here's to getting that patch soon)![]()

Ok here is the deal. Back in 2001 to 2002 the Logitech 560 was the greatest set of 5.1 you could get for a decent price. I bought mine for about 160 dollars. The four speakers were mounted on the wall and I put the Bass box under my desk. Yes, it feels like I am in a real plane. Music fills the room and the whole house for that matter. I am however NEVER to play through the speakers once the wifey is home. In order to preserve domestic peace and a lease on my place I only use the speakers from time to time. A set of Plantronics Headphones have been my poison for the last two years. I tried the USB type but they used up too many resources. In my headphones I can forget the world outside witout disturbing the people around me. This keeps me from being disturbed by the people upstairs too. If you want a kick butt set of speakers I recomend the Logitechs but unless you live alone out in the woods you have better stick with a nice set of headphones and save your money.
I've checked both of your sites that you have mentioned above and they are really helpful for me. Thank you,www.priceunder.com and remorgauge the house
