I just did nine floors in the Summit with pistols as the targeted loot because I need a Deagle for the exotic crafting.
I got a shotgun, a pistol and four skill mods. NOTHING else.
That's six pieces of loot and certainly over a hundred kills.
I even had a boss floor.
There's NO WAY this is normal. Right?
Is the loot in the Summit really weighted that heavily against solo players? Is it really?
By the way, I got killed twice. I did a few of those floors TWICE.
I only do Summit for the weekly project as i find loot drops in the Summit very low.
I only do heroic (solo) or legendary (groups) no directives.
And even in groups lootdrops are on the low side compared to random missions.
This both solo and in groups
So no it's not just you
I might, just MAYBE, do the five challenges on normal for the Capacitor and then the dank mess will never exist in my mind again.Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
If I get a good Test Subject, I might not even worry about the Capacitor.
And yes, I wish we could delete parts of the game that just waste storage space. lol
The summit is bad.
I enjoyed it at first, particularly the randomness and the idea of the targeted loot. The randomness is still there, but they have over-nerfed the loot. If you don't play with Directives the loot is garbage. Particularly single player, even on Heroic or Legendary. It's so frustrating it completely destroys any sense of enjoyment or achievement when completing a difficult encounter.
The devs, or maybe just one senior dev are doing their best the kill off the game, one nerf at a time.
I was going to start doing the 30 floors weekly project but, no. Serious serious changes have to happen first. I mean something big. Like 50 recon data materials per floor kind of big.Originally Posted by Vanhus81 Go to original post
I was on challenging. Nothing was dropping. What did drop was below 70% on the stats. Some below 50%.Originally Posted by CoOp_Gordon Go to original post
Desert Eagles dropped for me at the Potomac Event Center. And nine floors are nothing, you have to do a lot more to get what you want. But honestly, even if I like the options, I'm bored of The Summit. The mapping - always the same - is frustrating. I'm getting more targeted loot from open world activities.
