Its not a "get gud" thing. It's one guy can parry side ways three times and hit you twice in the time it takes you to even perform a light attack uninterrupted. Its called an imbalance , I dont care either, ive spamed side parries so often without the guy even swinging that he just dropped his guard and casually ran off. Plus I get lucky and pick the big heavy hitting boys and they just so happen to have anti stamina feats just for that purpose and fit my play style. I dont do that run away stuff. But if your playing without a stamina draining feat, I can see the issue. Than there's the non interuptable stuff that keeps happening or the quick rebounds. I call cheaters but who knows. I block them and before I can even get stared on a light attack their sword is already half way through my body Plus another parry had already taken place. I dont know about you, but when I get blocked, even a light attack simple guard block. My guy notices, no matter which op. But I dont have the samurai, so maybe thats something they get, Idk. Highlander seems to be an unstoppable hitter, hit him with whatever and he just acts like you did nothing. Big guy with the wood stick, should be a gaint spoon. Heavy attacks cant even stop him from swinging away.

I'm not sure what you mean by spamming side light parries... do you mean side light dodge attacks? If so those are some of the single most risky attacks in game, easily baited and parried and are punished with a guaranteed heavy. As for Highlander, in defensive mode (when his sword is in front of him) he has hyper armor on heavies and the name of the game is trading with you... in this situation blocking or parrying is your best option as his Celtic Curse attack is undodgeable.

As Raime said for you it does appear to be a git gud issue. Although it's become a meme, there's no shame in it, i have over 200 reps and I still hope to get better and I still learn new techniques with different heroes.

I'm not sure what you mean by spamming side light parries... do you mean side light dodge attacks? I did not complain about it being uncounterable, i said that the Dev team does not do anything about that (like every other game there is) other than making it worse, work on your reading comprehension skills before you tell me anything about any skills.

You must be a brand new player if you think the devs have never done anything about "cheese." Just because your specific issue hasn't been addressed doesn't mean the devs sit on their hands and do nothing. We've years of patch notes to prove this.

For me? Your mistaken, I spam stamina attacks. Lawbringer has got his stamina draining feat and a flash bang. I cant be stopped and forced them to triple team me =). But not everyone is me and wants to spam away like that, others might not want the flash and opt for something else.

Ah yes, my favorite contradiction. Complains about being torn up over spam but is somehow godly enough to consistently anti gank and win.

For Honor is surprisingly balanced already on PC but its totally broken on Console.

The CCU doesn't work very well with 30fps and input delays.

60+ fps and close to zero input delay on PC though is magical. Only big issue for PC is the non existent player base.

I'm waiting for next season because I already have my Xbox Series X all set up and ready to go for the next gen upgrade to 60fps with lowered input delay.

Console For Honor is going to be AMAZING in a few more weeks for anyone with a next gen console.

There's still a ton of people on pc. it's the MM that's been broken for several seasons.

Ah yes, my favorite contradiction. Complains about being torn up over spam but is somehow godly enough to consistently anti gank and win.

It happens. And its wasnt a complaint, it was a remark. And So what. Lawbringer is a main and everytime I play another op it becomes a huge issue. If im not spamming stamina draining utilities than I'm forced to play counter attacker. And even when blocking works and their swords are not doing equally as much damage as if I didnt even block iy (somehow) or just act like I wasnt blocking and go right through my sword (somehow). They still recover , spam the side dodge attack before my guy can get half way through a basic light attack. I stand by what I said. Its not unstoppable but they sure have an upper hand.

I was referring to side light dodge attacks, I think there is a language barrier or something. Now you are saying something about guarantee... so you must actually be referring to parries. But now I am totally confused because you are complaining about spam AND parries? You just need to find a different game.

I mean you can spin it how you like my guy. Just looks like complaining to me. LB doesn't have offense and has always been designed as a counter attacker. If you're not fond of that sort of style you'll need to pick another hero. If an attack goes through your guard either you tried parrying the last 100ms of an attack (which is unparryable) and so it goes through your guard. Or there is a connection issue. Haven't seen that issue be replicated in any other way. Side dodge attacks barring a handful of heros are very reactable. So if someone is only dodge attacking you on indicator you just feint and parry. Lawbringer still has some of the best if not THE best parry punishes in the game. Given that he can easily parry people who try to dodge attack his dodge bash you also have that option to try and stuff mix ups. This is why I said it's a git gud issue for you. You're fresh to the game and you don't even know the basics of your own hero. It's not meant as an insult.

IIRC it's actually PS4 that had the most active players. But that data is about a year old by now so maybe it's shifted to Xbox.

No I read your thing entirely. I'm just choosing to ignore your statement about you knowing how to counter them. People generally don't come onto a forum and complain about something they can easily handle. Disliking how some people play is usually more an addition to conversation rather than the main point of it. I called you brand new specifically because you said the devs don't do anything to address cheesy tactics. Telling me that they do but more is added in is just moving the goal post of the discussion and not actually a counter point given to my statement.

For honor is a basic as hell game. It's fundamentally flawed which causes issues like hero pick discrepancies. However Even in more balanced/solid foundation fighters players will gravitate towards a group of characters regardless. FH at current has a much more viable roster compared to where it was at even a year ago. If you want to fight other heros you're going to have to break out of your skill bracket assuming you're already not in the higher tiers. If it's not a git gud issue with your spam comments than it's a player mentality issue.

I had my own issues with how some people played. But it's presumptious of me to assume or actually empirically state that there's a problem with said character or the game itself soley based off of that alone. Other players will not make the game fun for you and neither will the devs. That's entirely on you. If the game is no longer fun or interesting for you then just move on. Expecting changes to fix your issues is just how you set yourself up for worse times.
