This game has gone from a good skilled competitive game to trash arcade game. The gameplay in its self is decent besides the insane amount ganking in this game it definitely is no longer a competitive or skilled game for that matter. The biggest problems with this game is the TRASH SERVERS UBISOFT YOU ARE COMPLETE FAILURES. This servers seems to be getting worse everyday but i do play on xbox one but these problems werent that bad in the past. I play for a few hrs and maybe get to finish 3 games its either I get disconnected from the game or the game so dam laggy I cant even fight. Like i said the game is still interesting to play but the TRASH SERVER is making this game horrible. I would like to try the pc version but my laptop not able handle the resources. At this point I am looking for another game to play.
This happens every day also in EU. I think even if you will sit directly in Ubisoft office you will experience the same problem.Originally Posted by Xavyn Go to original post
The amount of "our servers are busy" where you never receive rewards, even after waiting 10 minutes "just in case" they would get rewarded after the fact like they used to, is unacceptable. I just completed 3 orders at the end of 1 match, and got this error. The orders where marked completed and I NEVER RECIEVED THE REWARDS.
The amount of general netcode errors in game recently has been noticeably and drastically increased. Hits traveling through blocks, hits ghosting through opponents, pure guesswork parries, all kinds of stuff that screams to me that what I am seeing client side is not lining up with what the server side event is saying is happening.
I never had to troubleshoot this game to a degree where I had to ping trace and so I never knew where or who was hosting the servers that For Honor is on, but I STONGLY SUSPECT that the company and or location the For Honor servers are hosted have changed some time in the later half of October OR there has been a major change to some long standing netcode that clearly is buggy/not operational by any standards.
I've played several games that have transitioned server hosting companies and this is pretty much exactly how it "feels" when comparing an acceptable server service to something clearly inferior. That, or like the alternative I mentioned, somebody okay'd some kind of major netcode change that clearly isn't working properly. Both scenarios are unacceptable and incredibly bad news for this game, as both scenarios are extremely hard or even impossible (such as the case with server hosting contracts) to "walk back" once implemented and it goes wrong.
I hope I am wrong about all this speculation.... but sadly it is speculation based on real experience from other online games where these actual scenarios played out.
I live in Southern Vermont and i did have the same problem till i realized because my internet provider told me that i was getting Ddossed....I looked into it cuz i play on Xbox one aswell ppl use these apps called xbox booter on their phones to type in ppls gamertags that beat them in call of duty and games like 4h aswell and when they do this the app send so much data to the owner of that gamertags IP address it fries there wifi and disconnectes it for a short time... I then called my internet provider back they sent atech over and he installed a filter in between my house and telephone pole blocking large amounts of data coming threw for free... I havnt had the problem since...my gameplay is perfect now this happened at the end of october this year.
I am in midwest, Missouri. Yes I get error codes but they all random I cant keep up.Originally Posted by UbiYubble Go to original post
Just curious does anyone get a lag when players are leaving or connecting to the game session? I also been get players the are 80 to 100 latency. Also get these symbol on the top left corner when it starts to lag.
