Absolutely true. I have quite decent gear and this gear is from long time ago and i'm way over 800 SHD levels. I THINK the last time i got some useful stuff was shortly after SHD levels were introduced. Like the Coyote Mask - that was given for reaching level 35 in season 1 when i remember correctly. And i had to switch my main weapon after the iconic M1A got nerfed to the ground. Long time ago, guys. No changes in my set since then. Because useful drops are not part of the game's concept.Originally Posted by mckrackin5324 Go to original post
Lol come on man you're arguing semantics, the fact is he said he hadn't got any upgrades for 800 SHD levels.Originally Posted by mckrackin5324 Go to original post
I'm not discussing honesty here. I wouldn't have ANYTHING when exaggerating or misleading into this topic. I played DUA on legendary so many times - i know every bottle on every desk in that map by full name. Let's NOT go discussing honesty here. It's neither bringing the main topic being the de-motivational loot system in that game to progress, nor does it any justice on me as a person.Originally Posted by LateNiteDelight Go to original post
There's a big difference between "0-800" and "the last 800". It's two vastly different arguments.Originally Posted by ECSemperFi Go to original post
I got a lot of upgrades from 0-50 but no upgrades in my last 50.
So everyone’s loot drops in the game are the same?Originally Posted by LateNiteDelight Go to original post
The OP has a SHD level of 840. Thus implying that they only got upgrades during the 0-40 run, and nothing since. Which might be possible if they're looking to upgrade exactly the same pieces (i.e. brand, attributes and talents) that entire time. It would be a stupid thing to do of course, but we've seen people running around with six pieces of the same gearset so who am I to judgeOriginally Posted by mckrackin5324 Go to original post
As for rainbow loot, I'll note once again that people who bothered to track at least a hundred pieces found that rainbow loot comprised less than 15% of the items they picked up.

No, but you can't run Legendary DUA enough times to know every bottle & get 3 Big Horns.. and not come away with some solid loot.Originally Posted by InfamousClub Go to original post
I agree with this. I do believe some hyperbole is involved hereOriginally Posted by LateNiteDelight Go to original post![]()
Dude. Let's try to keep it simple and make no science about all this. If i run legendary missions, everything that counts is firepower. Neither does armour do the trick, nor do skills. They both pay out in a group, but this heavily depends on the rest of the group. What's consistent about any group regardless of their specializations: they all need firepower. So concentrating on reds is nothing i would ever call 'stupid', but if that's the language you prefer to distribute to forum comments: just go ahead. If arguments are thin, this is the perfect choice for tonality.Originally Posted by dagrommit Go to original post
I can't reproduce the claim just '15% of the items' looted being rainbow loot. In my case i find about 1% having one color - this is what it FEELS like, it's neither scientific researched, nor an evaluated number out of an array of test runs. I really can't reproduce neither the numbers, nor the subjective experience in that statement. I throw away everything i get, cause there is no way to craft it to my needs, nor do i have other possibilities to make them useful.Originally Posted by dagrommit Go to original post
