Well, I did get improvements after Keener. Maybe for about 50-75 SHD levels. Now my build is about 80% of it's potential and every piece has been on my agent for about 100 SHD levels.Originally Posted by LateNiteDelight Go to original post

A bad streak of RNG could theoretically stretch 200-300 SHD, maybe.. but not 800
Also, in your instance, are you using the Recalc Library? For my skill builds, it took over 400 SHD to track down all the gRolls, but at that point, it becomes a lot easier to get 90%+ on a Skill build, because you just need one great roll.
No it's not impossible, if i'm looking to do a new build I can find something "serviceable" but not even close to G-rolled. I've been looking for upgrades to most of my gear for months on end and haven't found anything considered to be an "upgrade" at all. Yes I do get what he's saying as for the most part it's impossible to get an upgrade on Chests and Backpacks. You can way more easily get other parts of your build because they have less stat slots and lack talents but those chests and backpacks are literally chasing unicorns.Originally Posted by LateNiteDelight Go to original post
Yes it is subjective and its also subjective you saying you didn't get any useful loot for 800 SHD levels. What you call useful loot I'm sure differs from what I call useful or the next person so i don't know how you can think your sample size is from an objective view lol, its all subjective.Originally Posted by Angry_Gekko Go to original post
That's the challenge the Devs face, they're never going to please everyone.
Sure, if you're at SHD 1500 and tracking down upgrades - I can see you going very long stretches, because you're almost maxed.Originally Posted by UMUSTBBORNAGAIN Go to original post
But he claimed to have gone from Zero to 800.. not happening.
I'm at SHD 750. I have two non-gRoll pieces on my main build. I've been non-specifically farming for the upgrades without luck since about SHD500 - but to upgrade I only need .1% on the Chest, and 1.1% on the Holster. This does not mean the loot system sucks - it means I'm looking for a Unicorn.
The game drops well rolled pieces frequently enough, but that doesn't mean it's a well rolled piece that you need. It's becoming apparent that many people here aren't able to differentiate between those two things.
Also seems most people don't stash well rolled pieces that might be useful on a future build. Between being a hoarder + crafting 30-50 [ea] Improvised Holster/Gloves/Kneepads, I was able to have a 90% rolled PfE up and running with just a few hours of farming for the last piece and some mats.
No. He didn't. He said "The last 800 levels".Originally Posted by LateNiteDelight Go to original post
He also never said he got no good pieces. He said he got no improvements.

And btw i'm doin' honest work here. Yes, in that time the Big Horn dropped 3 times for me, so i gifted two of them and one went into my stash rotting there because it's nice to try it out once, but it's stats are (like almost all uniques) not good enough for a solid place in my set. So if you consider that as perfect loot, yeah, you might think i'm exaggerating. But again: i'm not. I wear the same items since endless times.
Someone said earlier, the rainbow loot is still in the game because there are people who have 'hybrid builds' and need them to spice these builds up. A simple question here: Is 99,99% of the community using hybrid builds? Because this is the amount of hybrid rainbow useless items i get. Why isn't the proportion the other way around? Why isn't loot orientating on the gear set worn by the player? So many questions, but this devs don't have any answers, because their system is absolutely mindblowing unmotivating.
I don't know what game you're playing, but i'm playing full red and i just get blue and yellow stuff or red stuff mixed with useless other colors. This isn't about me. This is about a missing logic and concept behind drops. The drops could orientate on players main colors. They could orientate on hybrid or non-hybrid gear worn. And prefer a certainty for similar coloration. And even without that, there could be a crafting system allowing you for more possibilities. You could easily make items craftable a second time when worn 150 hours or when having killed 2.000 enemies wearing them, and so on. The possibilities are endless. It's the developer who messes the loot system up since 2 years, not the players who dig into the game.Originally Posted by ECSemperFi Go to original post

Now maybe it was hyperbole [even with the non-exaggerated protestation]. Also, maybe a typo on the before the bench [which was pre-SHD levels]. Maybe we're all just dogs who expanded our skills from just playing poker, to posting on the interwebs..I didn't get any useful loot the last 800 SHD levels i went up. Nope, this is not exaggerated. But it's telling me there's something ODDLY wrong in conception and execution of long term motivation in this game. I tried out many items on my way. But i kept falling back to the items i got before the bench was introduced into the game. I'm at SHD 840 now. And i'm basically wearing the same gear i started up leveling SHD levels.![]()
I have no idea how many people use hybrid builds, and I agree the Hybrid drop should be even less likely to drop than it does now [though I'm currently hunting for an Armor core, with full Crit Attributes, so I can roll the Core] - but the feedback was obviously large enough for them to dial down the adjustment.Originally Posted by Angry_Gekko Go to original post
You maybe be telling your truth, but you're expecting us to believe you've completed enough Legendary Missions to get 3 Big Horns [I've done about a dozen strongholds, plus a few dozen legendary floors of Summit without one], but you haven't gotten a single gear upgrade from before level 40 SHD? So either you got carried through Legendary immediately after defeating Keener, and are complaining you can't find Unicorn upgrades or I'm missing some integral variable.
