Exotic - Capacitor
Assault Rifle based upon the PDR.
Rewarded by completing 5 Summit Challenge in a single ascent
Talent - Capacitance
Shooting enemies builds stacks to a cap of 50. Each stack grants 1% Skill Damage. After 5 seconds, stacks decay 1 per second.
For each utility core gain 5% Weapon Damage.
"Rigger" Set bonuses:
2+ Piece Bonus: +15% Skill Haste
3+ Piece Bonus: +15% Skill Duration
4+ Piece Bonus: "Tend and Befriend"
Interacting with your deployed skills grants the skill 25% skill damage for 10s. This buff cannot be refreshed.
Interactions include:
Using / Deploying the Skill
Changing the skills target
Healing the skill
4+ Chest:
Increase the damage buff from 25% to 50%
4+ Backpack
Cancelling your skills will reset their cooldown.
Here's what I'm thinking:
Technician specialization
Memento Backpack
4pc Rigger set including the chest for the 50% bonus.
Fenris brand piece for AR damage.
That's going to be Tier 6 skills with 1 armor and 2 red cores. AR damage will be effectively 4 red cores due to the weapon talent, making it very respectable. But holy crap will your turret and drone damage be through the roof! Tier 6 plus 50% damage from the set, plus 50% damage from Capacitor, Plus Memento! You want to talk about things melting?
What do you guys think? This seems almost too OP.
Alternatively, you could swap one of the skills for a Tier 6 Crusader or Firewall shield. That might be also VERY good in many situations.
EDIT: OMG...gross! If you use the chest piece for your branded piece, and you go with Kinetic Momentum....as long as both your drone and turret are out you'll end up with 55% skill damage(25 from Rigger, 15 from each skill stack of kinetic momentum). Uhg....if you use Wyvern instead of Fenris, you'll get ANOTHER 10% skill damage.
Holy Crap this build is going to be off the charts!
Well that one is buggered due to turret and drones behaviourOriginally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post![]()
You're sorta right but I found that the Memento works well in missions. The buffs last 5 minutes so you can gather trophies between rooms. The first room is with no Memento buffs but it's easy to build up 30 and carry them. 15-20 per room.Originally Posted by TechnicalBoy101 Go to original post
It is pretty worthless in control points though.
I do prefer Perfect Combine Arms though. Even Acosta's bag is better with Demolitionist.
The buff gets activated whether the deployed skill actually attacks your chosen target or not. Damn good thing too. lolOriginally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
I disagree strongly with this. The extra armor and weapon core alone makes it worth wearing. And you can pick up the tokens in-between fights for the long-term buff to armor regen, skill efficiency, and weapon damage. You absolutely do not have to pick up tokens mid-combat for it to be a worthy choice.Originally Posted by TechnicalBoy101 Go to original post
But since you disagree, what would you use instead for this build?
I think that depends a lot on how the talent actually activates. You can manually set the targets of the turret and drone. So if that triggers the talent, then it's good to go.Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
Maybe. That sounds like it might work. Let's walk through it though:Originally Posted by UplayKap27 Go to original post
Memento with a full stack of buffs is 30 stacks of skill efficiency that's on all the time. That's 30% damage, health, haste, etc. But also armor regen and weapon damage as well. And whatever bonuses you manage to pull off in-combat with the short-term buff.
The Waveform holster is only 30% skill damage.
I'm not sure if that would be balanced by a different backpack with a talent. Perfect Tech support maybe? Acosta's go-bag for overcharge maybe?
I don't know, it seems like for all around steady reliable use, the Memento is going to outclass other options, if for no other reason than the added weapon damage and skill damage at the same time; something other backpack talents don't do. Not to mention the passive armor regen basically for free as a side benefit.
Did I miss something about the holster?
I'm not so sure.Originally Posted by UplayKap27 Go to original post
Correct me if I'm wrong but the holster buffs one skill at a time. Right? And it switches back and forth on a timer with no player control and the buff decays constantly while active. Am I right?
I haven't got much time in the PTS. Hard to remember everything.
Since Memento and all other skill damage pieces buff both skills at the same time, it's more bonus damage than the holster.
A 30 stack of trophies means 60% bonus damage is happening between your drone and turret. I know it decays too but you see what I mean.
I try to look at all the damage that's going on at once. I shoot for a million DPS between me and my skills.
