Brilliant.....that made me chuckle so much i almost pi$$ed myself, they ain't weird, they have just endured the worst mission/game mode in the gameOriginally Posted by UMUSTBBORNAGAIN Go to original post![]()
So I see these two things a lot, but nobody ever gives an example. Anyone care to share a specific example?Originally Posted by Craig1405 Go to original post
I've run through every mission at least once over the past month and didn't have an issue completing any of them. I also haven't had a build ruined since Gear 2.0, which was months ago [plus, they bumped the power level cap, so we needed to farm again regardless] - did I miss any build breaking nerfs over the past 3 or 4 months?
I don't really play Skill Builds, so I could have easily missed the issue if it's related to that part of the game.
As I said in my original post which you decided to only partially quote I quit 6 months ago so I have no idea what the devs have been doing in the last 3 or 4 months. The final straw for me was running Tidal Basin with 3 clan mates on heroic and not being able to complete the mission 3 times in a row because the cannister dog kept disappearing, which on heroic obviously forces a restart. There was a thread on here a couple of weeks ago with players complaining about the same mission breaking bug still being there 5 months later. The were many more like this at the time which were well documented by myself and many others, screenshots and clips were sent in by many of us but it seems most of these were ignored for whatever reason.Originally Posted by LateNiteDelight Go to original post
As for gear being nerfed after hundreds of hours of farming I gave many examples 6 months ago when I quit and dont intend to go over them all for your benefit. I'm glad you obviously love the game but many of us who used to love it have quit for many reasons, mainly endless bugs being introduced with each update to add to the already abundant amount in the game already.
Sorry, wasn't cutting them maliciously or attempting to attack/slander you - I was just using it to ask a question to the broader community.
I understand why some people hated Gear 2.0 [disagree with the mindset, but I can't fault anyone for feeling that way - I hated it for the first 5-10 hrs after it happened]
No problem, no offence taken.Originally Posted by LateNiteDelight Go to original postI was still playing when gear 2.0 was released in TU8 and had no real problem with the change, however I felt like many members on here that TU8.5 was when the real problems started with rainbow loot etc, hours of futile farming followed to try and create builds which the devs couldn't as far as I see leave alone for 5 minutes. Gear 1.0 and the budget system was a huge mistake and foe a while gear 2.0 was ok but that seemed to change fairly quickly.
I thought WoNY was a great DLC although it had initial teething problems but over all was a really great addition to the game I feel. For me and many others the endless bugs became just too much to bear and frustration levels with the game just destroyed the enjoyment.
I'm glad people still play and enjoy the game and I honestly hope Massive really learn from their mistakes from the game and release a polished professional product if there's another title in the Division franchise so players like myself and many others like me return to what could potentially be one of the best new games out there.
I think I've just been really lucky to not run into many bugs - I think I've only ever been stopped from completing something twice. I've also realized I care less about the loot than most here do [still like it, but it's not the main reason I play].
I've definitely been mixing in other games more this fall, but TD2 is still my main fix. I think it also helps I've only got about 500hrs in. I'd probably be burnt out too if I had some of the hours played as shown in another thread recently.
I'm guessing a new expansion would see a decent number of folks return for a bit.. I'm hoping we're getting that or TD3 at some point next year.
I agree with your point about mixing other games in which keeps Div2 fresh. For me I've always played other games while playing The Division (both games). Regarding bugs, I've also been fortunate enough not to have experienced bug issues like others have expressed.Originally Posted by LateNiteDelight Go to original post
While i think The Division as a whole does have bug issues, i think there's also some exaggeration when it comes to that subject out of frustration.
NO because I see them soloing Summit and If I join they never talk and really seem like they just want to solo so i leave them alone and will say hey join me anytime we can do Summit and nada. Could be me, maybe I have the plague errr sumthin.Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post![]()
