The atmosphere though, is definitely superior, and the only reason I'm slogging through right now besides wanting to try Survival.
I played Survival about 4 times yesterday. Still the best dlc they've released IMO. Figured id give it a go since im spinning my wheels around here and may as well do something i enjoy. Still tons of fun if you can get into a server with some players.

This may not help but i've been having a blast playing the new Borderlands dlc, it's a survival type mode although not as long to build up as Divisions. I'm staying off Division 2 for now because I know the grind for mats will be unreal come TU12's release.

I just mean the looks. The world looks better and the characters move better. Yes, the UI is primitive in comparison.
    I agree with you 100%.

TD1 is superior is every way. I much prefer the Menu's and UI. I think TD2 menus are a convoluted mess.

Examine loot on the ground in both games. Only Div 2 shows you the full details, and allows you loot as trash or deconstruct. Div 1 requires you to pick up the item, find it in your inventory, then deconstruct/junk it.

Open your stash in both games. Div 2 shows you categories so you can quickly find what piece you're looking for. Div 1 requires you to scroll through a list of everything in the stash.

I could go on, but the point is that Div 1's inventory management was trash.

I disagree. But that's the good thing about opinions.

You preferring a less functional UI is certainly an "opinion". That doesn't make it good.

Division 1 was/is a great game but that ugly clunky interface is just ewww to mess around with.

You saying the UI is less functional is also an opinion. That doesn't make it right
