    Black screen after titles.

Hi, i purchased Far Cry 4 Gold edition from Steam and when trying to launch the game will stop after the second title animation and just show a black screen. I can see the FPS counter go to around 1900 FPS.

    System specs:

    CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X
    Chipset: X570
    GPU: Radeon 5700XT
    RAM: 2x16GB DDR4 3200 CL16
    SSD: NVMe 500GB

    Windows 10 Pro - v2004 Comp. 19041.572

Latest BIOS for the MoBo, and latest drivers for GPU and chipset.

    Tried reinstalling, with no luck.

    Hey there,

Sorry to see you're having issues!

You're well above the minimum specs to launch the game.

Please give the steps in our guide a try - particularly steps regarding performing a Clean Boot to ensure there's nothing interfering.

Let us know how you get on!

Maybe try pressing ALT+ENTER to force the game going into windowed mode. If that works, it's probably related to the video settings.

    That's a great suggestion as well, Steve64b.

Comandante_JC - Have any of the troubleshooting steps provided within this thread helped to resolve the issue? Or are you still encountering black screens?
