Currently (my personal opinion only) daily/weekly projects are worthless for many players:

Daily projects give:
- some XP, same amount for a heroic territory control activity completion
- Equipment item. This is completely worthless, since get drops from any NPC kill.
- Challenging bounty. Hostage rescues are the easier way to get bounty within a minute, especially heroic bounties on heroic difficulty.
- 1 SHD recalibration resource as the current state of PTS. Spending 1 scavenging point is the same, can be aquired quickly by completing any activity/kills.

Weekly projects give:
- some XP, same amount for a heroic mission completion
- 2x Equipment item. This is completely worthless, since get drops from any NPC kill.
- Heroic bounty. Same as previous section, hostage rescue/public executions can be done quickly and give bounties. Also activities give bounty per player, so a hostage rescue gives 4 bounties total for a full group what they can complete after each other (if someone want to farm (on) bounties).
- 5 SHD recalibration resource as the current state of PTS. Spending 5 scavenging point give the same, can be aquired quickly by leveling up. (Related to other optimization requirements, by completing the others, gaining SHD levels and really no need to farm XP/ raise SHD level with more activities)

For LZ only players, named caches are the only permanent sources to get something DZ specific gears/weapons. Currently named caches available on league events (total 1) and on global events (total 1 or 2, regarding player completed previous same event or not). Named cache reward should bring the projects back and make them valuable again.
And of course, give some hope for LZ only players too.
