Hi. This still does not work. Just shows the option to buy the PS5 version at full price, no option to upgrade. Is there any update as to when we can expect a fix? thanks

Seen a few places online say Ubisoft are investigating ? I really do hope so, it’s been 5 days now. Wonder if we will be compensated in any way ..

It’s now the “release date” we were told to wait for. Still nothing. Got to love purchasing a game full price and not being able to play it then watching it drop to half price

Interestingly, my mate (UK) got his PS5 last night and has a PS4 Watch Dogs Legion disk. He said he put the disk in this morning, pressed copy, and as soon as it started noticed the free download offer was there. He said it wasn't there before he pressed copy. I've tried that previously and it didn't work. The only difference between his and mine is that I never managed to play it on my PS4 so had no save backed up, he did and had copied his across. Could it be looking for an existing save?

Anyone here played it on PS4, copied the save to PS5 and it still doesn't work?

I just tried what you said, I deleted my PS4 save on the PS5 console, and deleted the game and go to reinstall it, still no option to upgrade.

I played both Assassin's Creed and Watchdogs on my PS4 first and imported saves via Ubisoft Connect. Still had no option to upgrade either when I checked this morning though.

For what it's worth, both of mine are Ultimate Editions - maybe a different edition worked for your friend?

Edit, also tried importing saves from the PS4 cloud, but still no upgrade option for either

It makes me shiver, how a company treats customers like idiots here. And that twitter post omg..
"It doesn't work if you don't have it installed on your ps4 to begin with" <-- wtf does this has to do with anything, how come Turkish PSN works? fix the *******.. issue.. or atleast read what customers who bought physical versions of game are saying.
