This issue would have to be fixed, as there box states, there is a free upgrade, there is no distributed release date stated, so that implies it's out of the box a free upgrade which would be against trading standards, and sales of goods act in the UK if they don't rectify this issue.
The fact it's taken this long is pathetic.
It took 3 email attempts to get Ubisoft to acknowledge this forum post and that it was an issue that they admitted to looking in to.
Such a joke. I'll have finished watch dogs by the time they fix this, and i'll have gained nothing out of my PS5 experience. I was only given the ps4 copy since it was available prior to the ps5 version in the UK at Game with my pre-purchase, so not from me playing it before hand on a PS4 (as i had already traded this in).
Shame on you Ubisoft. I'd rather this be fixed than the many bugs you have.
Yeah I'm sure in the past Sony have discouraged anyone doing this.Originally Posted by ElectroPuff Go to original post
Have to go to my local GameStop next week to collect Cyberpunk, might take my two disks in and see if they have any in stock with that other product code.
Am wondering if they would agree to swap for PS5 versions otherwise, but I'm doubting it since the boxes have been opened and the season pass codes used![]()
This is an extra stress I really don't need right now...
I can't see how it can be labeled as anything but UK stock as the disk doesn't offer the Russian or Turkish languages as an option when starting the game. The fact it also contains teh PEGI rating and the UK address for Ubisoft is also a good clue.Originally Posted by RadioKiD Go to original post
At this point I'm going to wait another day then contact trading standards under the distant selling and false advertisment acts if it isn't sorted.
The store I purchased the Ultimate edition from has refused an exchange or refund as the game has been opened, codes used and it works on the PS4.
Who did you purchase through? I’m currently waiting for game to get back to meOriginally Posted by Azaki1985 Go to original post
Purchased through Game online store.Originally Posted by ElectroPuff Go to original post
Well that answers my question too then. Although it shouldn’t matter. The game is faulty. Whether it’s open or not is irrelevant.Originally Posted by Azaki1985 Go to original post
Hopefully they’ll get back to me
