It's been a few weeks, this is pathetic.
I just found the tweet here: https://twitter.com/ubisoftsupport/s...016993794?s=21

I wish they’d just put out an announcement about it to give some type of timeframe. It’s false advertising and them letting people know when they should have it fixed by is the least they could do. Especially if they aren’t trying to wait it out until we forget/give up.

They should be putting out an official statement clear on their website and not deep on this forum or replying to tweets. As potential customers are buying unaware about this issue.

Sorry for the late response. I can confirm that we are aware of this issue and it is currently being investigated.

Please keep checking here for news and updates, we apologise for the inconvenience caused.
Why aren’t you publicly acknowledging this then on the main Ubi Support site instead of ignoring most customers and leaving us all in the lurch!?

I’m fed up of waiting to be honest - will you be issuing refunds!? Because that’s all I want right now for misleading/false advertising!

I’ve already contacted Trading Standards and BBC Watchdogs because you and PlayStation are ignoring us!

    I'm same

I have the ultimate edition for assassin's creed from game and the gold edition of watchdogs and they are both from UK supplys, makes no sense why they wouldn't put all euro versions on all euro stores.

It get's better, just received an DM stating it's being investigated but recommend making another PSN account for the region of the CUSA code on the case. We shouldn't have to be doing this.

Now they’re telling people to create new psn accounts for something they cased and in no hurry to fix. The likely hood of this getting fixed for this year is low, I have no confidence in Ubisoft ability.

I won’t be buying any game from them again new

I spent yesterday visiting some local retailers in the UK, namely Tesco, Asda and Argos. The sales people proved very helpful and went to check the CUSA codes on the versions they had for sale to see if they matched mine. They all had CUSA 13035 copies of Watch Dogs Legion for sale and no other CUSA codes in stock.

This is not an isolated issue and Ubi need to start taking it seriously.

I refuse to make a new PSN account that isn't based in my country of origin. This is not a fix or solution and will likely lead to issues down the road.

So far I have been very disappointed with teh response from Ubi and have cancelled my preorder for Fenyx Immortals Rising.

I said a few days ago and you can read my previous posts, I actually don’t think Ubisoft have any intention of rectifying this problem. Either they cannot because it’s too monumental a mess up, or because they just simply cannot be bothered and truly expect the customer to do the workaround. I maintain that if it is an error then it should be relatively easy to fix, especially after nearly two weeks. I literally will not be buying any Ub games again. Like I say, I’m a mature adult and not some petulant kid. Certainly intelligent and selective enough to know that if my custom is blatantly disrespected to this degree after giving a company thousands of pounds, then that is not acceptable in any way.

I bought all the AC games and enjoyed every single one of them. I was initially impressed by the scale of The Crew but honestly The Crew 2 was horrible. I had quite a lot of fun with Far Cry although I could take it or leave it. Watch Dogs 2 was only a recent experience for me as I bought it for a huge reduction in the sale. But I wasn’t hugely impressed. I was more looking forward to WDL as it is set in London but honestly it’s not a great game. The city is what interests me more than anything. I bought AC Valhalla as one of my first PS5 games and after a couple of hours I love it, but still, the game play so far is familiar. I could take or leave Far Cry games, I won’t be buying Far Cry 6, more so Watch Dogs. I love AC but if they repeat the formula too much I’ll tire of that too. I won’t be buying AC dlc however much they put into it; not after this. Nor will I be buying Fenyx Immortals. I will not be buying any Ubisoft games this generation. Not with exceptional developers like Guerrilla Games, Insomniac, Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, Bluepoint, CDPR, etc.

Ubisoft customer service is utterly atrocious and their products are broken and substandard. Their dismissal of customers is abhorrent. I would advise people certainly in the U.K. not to buy Ubisoft games because you will not get PS5 upgrades.
