I said a few days ago and you can read my previous posts, I actually don’t think Ubisoft have any intention of rectifying this problem. Either they cannot because it’s too monumental a mess up, or because they just simply cannot be bothered and truly expect the customer to do the workaround. I maintain that if it is an error then it should be relatively easy to fix, especially after nearly two weeks. I literally will not be buying any Ub games again. Like I say, I’m a mature adult and not some petulant kid. Certainly intelligent and selective enough to know that if my custom is blatantly disrespected to this degree after giving a company thousands of pounds, then that is not acceptable in any way.
I bought all the AC games and enjoyed every single one of them. I was initially impressed by the scale of The Crew but honestly The Crew 2 was horrible. I had quite a lot of fun with Far Cry although I could take it or leave it. Watch Dogs 2 was only a recent experience for me as I bought it for a huge reduction in the sale. But I wasn’t hugely impressed. I was more looking forward to WDL as it is set in London but honestly it’s not a great game. The city is what interests me more than anything. I bought AC Valhalla as one of my first PS5 games and after a couple of hours I love it, but still, the game play so far is familiar. I could take or leave Far Cry games, I won’t be buying Far Cry 6, more so Watch Dogs. I love AC but if they repeat the formula too much I’ll tire of that too. I won’t be buying AC dlc however much they put into it; not after this. Nor will I be buying Fenyx Immortals. I will not be buying any Ubisoft games this generation. Not with exceptional developers like Guerrilla Games, Insomniac, Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, Bluepoint, CDPR, etc.
Ubisoft customer service is utterly atrocious and their products are broken and substandard. Their dismissal of customers is abhorrent. I would advise people certainly in the U.K. not to buy Ubisoft games because you will not get PS5 upgrades.
