Apparently it works if you sign up for a Turkish account... You can then sign back into your regular account once downloaded and still get your saves through Connect. Can't try it yet as still waiting for my PS5 to arrive!

Add me to the list, I have both Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watchdogs Legion Ultimate Editions on disk, but neither have the upgrade option.

Am using the UK store front with disks brought from GameStop (Ireland)

Same issue here.
UK PS5 console, UK PS4 disc version of Valhalla from Simply games. No option to upgrade.
Thanks for the update that you're fixing it, things go wrong and we appreciate you working on the fix.

However, I don't appreciate Ubisoft's Twitter today advertising falsely that you can upgrade your PS4 games to PS5 versions. This is a known issue, a feature that doesn't work for seemingly the whole of the UK (at least) so it's blatant false advertising.

I’d just like to chip in as well and say I’ve bought the UK PS4 Gold Edition of Valhalla for my new UK PS5 with a UK PS+ Subscription and account and I also do not have the option for the free PS5 upgrade. I only either see the ‘Full’ game that I have, or I can buy the digital version...
I’ve taken days off work, and this was the only game I have to play on the PS5 apart from the free Bugsnax and Astro’s Playroom. Extremely disappointed in this. I really hope that a fix is brought in soon as this is now 2 full days that PS5 has been released. You would think they’d have this ironed out since US markets have had it for over a week now!

Same issue here. Also in the UK with a UK PSN account and copy of Watchdogs Legion Ultimate purchased from Game UK. No upgrade option just purchase options on the PS5 when the disc is inserted.

Also have a uk psn account and uk playstation. Uk ps4 disc CUSA13035. No option to download the ps5 version. Only buy it.
