Did your trophies copy over from the PS4 game to the PS5 version? Only two of my trophies copied over, I can’t get them for making all areas defiant or for completing stories, so I won’t be able to get platinum unless I restart the entire game on PS5 version.

Stop talking about making a Turkish account. This isn’t helping the situation and is giving Ubisoft an easy was out, so it’s completely counterproductive to us getting a proper resolution. This is entirely on Ubisoft to fix promptly and professionally. The item was advertised as having a product which we paid money for. This is false advertising at this point and not compatible with your consumers rights. This is for Ubisoft to fix properly.

Still not fixed, this is getting a bit silly now. The whole PS5 experience so far has been shaky as hell with all the bugs, it feels like the whole infrastructure is held together by chewing gum and elastic bands! there's no way I'm putting a Turkish account on it, it'll probably catch fire knowing my luck!

It was only mentioned to help other users who might be desperate to play the game they bought. I did not bring it up as an excuse for Ubisoft to not fix their error.

There will be hundreds of thousands of users who have bought the game that aren’t aware of this thread or that there is a workaround. Of course Ubisoft are still to be held accountable for their error, but that doesn’t mean we should keep the workaround a secret to ourselves — that’s not fair on other gamers who are equally as frustrated as us.

Exactly the same for me, if I don't get the PS5 version I will look to contact trading standards to get a refund because this is ridiculous, I bought the PS4 version under the impression I'd get a free upgrade, it even says it on the box. The CUSA code is 13035 if that helps

    Having the same issue here.

Stupid as it may seem but from what I can gather Cusa refers to North America / Europe region.

The UK is no longer part of Europe.

Could this be reason why creating a Turkish PSN account works.

Has anyone else tried creating another EU country PSN account to see if they can get the upgrade?.

Could Ubisoft actually have failed big time and done something to prevent European discs being used to upgrade to the Ps5 version via UK PSN accounts?

You’re getting Europe (a continent) and the EU (political union) mixed up. Blu-ray discs in the UK will still be Region B regardless of our position in the European Union.

It seems like this is a PlayStation store locale problem; something that should be immediately fixable yet hasn’t been. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks Ubisoft might be purposefully delaying to see how many of us will pay £38.99 to buy the PS5 version.

This problem is also widely prevalent with Assassin's Creed Valhalla & that's not in the sale, it's still trying to charge £59.99 where the free upgrade option should be.

Ok — the conspiracy theorist in me now thinks Ubisoft are trying to profiteer out of both their games not offering a free upgrade.

I don’t understand why else they aren’t being more transparent and honest about this. I haven’t received replies to any of my communications. We are totally in the dark.

Sadly I feel like I’ll have to write an official letter to their offices in Guildford requesting an update under our consumer protection regulations.

Did the Turkish account fix and it worked as advertised. Problem is the PS5 version is so buggy!
Got the wrong photo’s for agents in the operator menu after transferring save in from PS4 version, including duplicates, and weird graphics glitches that have made me question whether my console is faulty.
Perhaps Ubisoft are holding back the update feature as the PS5 version is such a mess.
My advice..... stick to the PS4 version for now!!
