I seen that too, I cant stand players that I think the shd level make players so much better, no matter their build. the other day I was in dua on legendary, there was a 67 shd join, this one guy lost it and started fussing about a 67 joining and kept trying to kick him, the guy had a good shield build and was a good player, of course his problem was he was 1 of these guy that thought he was invincible and kept running in and dieing, but I didn't kick him because I had been matchmaking 20 mins. we got halfway, the room where the timer is, and he runs up to the door and started shooting like a dummy, aleast he took all the fire while we went to the top, of course 1 guy runs right over to the door an the shotguners killed him, and in big guys killed the guy that was fussing, I died because my turret blew up right before the big guy died, the guy blamed it on the level 67, I couldn't help but laugh.Originally Posted by CalvyB Go to original post
He was a good player but kept running in and dying lol. Should have booted him.Originally Posted by Finalplay342019 Go to original post
Yea, I would I have if his build was garbage, but I guess I was hoping he would learn to stay back after laying there until the fight was over, but I was wrong, in my opinion he was better than the guy with 3k shd, just dumb.Originally Posted by mrwtw Go to original post
Plus I'm a person that likes to prove shd levels don't change enough to make a difference in having good or bad builds, I beat the expansion with my level 30 skill build, even though all my mods were ruined, most people probably don't believe it, so I guess that's why I want to let him prove to that guy he could do it, and he could have if he had played smart. Plus I was just playing, I didn't care if we beat it or not.
I mean I would after he died several times if it was because of his build instead of dying because he had obviously never played legendary, probably because everyone kick him lol. he actually didn't run In and die after the last wave on the second section all the way to the part we all died, that was because he didn't run to the top with us and he started shoot the door.Originally Posted by mckrackin5324 Go to original post

Too true. Lower skilled players need better loot more than any single person in this thread/forum. But on lower difficulties, the loot is even worse than on Heroic/Legendary. On top of that hardly any mechanics are explained in this game. Combine that with a serious lack of empathy from most folks in here and it's a recipe for disaster. People with 2000 hours under their belt saying this game is easy for new players that never played a game like this should take a good look in the mirror.Originally Posted by mckrackin5324 Go to original post
Them: Git gud!
Noob: Ok, let me join you.
Them: Nononono, not in here! Kick.
Them: You need to learn how this game works! You're stupid!
Noob: Ok, how about this gear combo?
Them: Hahaha, idiot! Kick.
Hahaha. I always have found it funny to see that games can reveal the true nature of people and their personality. There are some that say okay we will help you trough the mission and teach you how to beat specific parts of it. And there are those that only want to play in the winning team, and when loosing they immediately start pointing fingers at others. But this doesn't apply to TD games only, there are many communities out there that react in the same way, simply because you will find the same kind of people everywhere.Originally Posted by NLxAROSA Go to original post
I also never understoud why you had to play legendary for the best items, and I think that isn't even true, but just a perception everybody has. When items drop at 70-90% most players will still say those are bad drops when only looking for 100%. So when items drop having 30-70% stats on lower difficulties they are actually just as bad, And while this perception keeps going around you will always see inexperienced players that want to join legendary missions because they think they can improve faster, which isn't the case. You get more items on lower difficulties time wise and chances of that 100% piece dropping are more or less the same.
Those sweaty try hards that have tons of hours but still wipe in legendary are the packs of rogues ganging up on solo new players In the DZ and bragging about it on Youtube. lolOriginally Posted by echolecter Go to original post
As for your loot quality argument, you're just wrong. Once you get a build to 70-80%, you just can't improve it outside of legendary and certainly not solo. If I run a solo challenging mission, most of the time, the bosses are the only loot drops and the loot drops in the 50-70% quality range. The only good loot for a solo player not playing heroic and legendary is caches and that is because the caches are set to legendary quality. The vendors get some good stuff too.
I ran 7 floors of the Summit yesterday and only got loot to drop on two floors. The last three in a row were all drones with no NPCs and no loot. I quit that mess. Hopefully for good. lol
Yeah SHD level means nothing except you play the game, its not an indicator of skill. I try to help people on legendary missions, but a lot of times they ignore it and keep doing what they're doing so i gave up and play in group with people who have the experience.Originally Posted by mckrackin5324 Go to original post
