This is actually an idea that I saw on the forums a while ago but I figured I'd post it again.

Right now the main difficulty option controls both damage and detection time. It would be really nice if those options were split into 2 different settings. I really want to play with a high detection speed but I find the extreme damage way too punishing to be fun. Considering the incredible amount of customization this game offers I'm really surprised this hasn't become a thing yet.
