Having a LOT of trouble with Hades boss fight

I'm having way more trouble with the hades boss fight than with any fight so far in this game.

I'm level 83, but he's killing me FAST!

The problem is that all of my abilities are USELESS. I can't do the Ares rage. I can't HEAL! I'm slowed WAY down.

I mean SERIOUSLY! Who thought this was good to completely nullify ALL of Kassandra's abilities? Why did I just spend the whole game earning abilities if in the boss battle they mean nothing?

    This is really frustrating.

Yes, I know how to hit from sides and back.
Yes. I know how to dodge and roll.
Yes, I have some cryptic note from the ferryman about using fire.

But this guy has tons of health, tons of special moves, and he just sucks away all my character's attacks and defenses!

Lol. Now I feel silly. I went back in, changed my armor to a set with better engravings, changed my weapons around and upgraded them. I used the Hades bow, and gave it an engraving to increase fire damage, since Charon gave me a note about fighting fire with fire. I then reset my ability points and poured my points into health, armor, and returning damage as health.

I then went back into the fight and spent the ENTIRE time rolling away and firing arrows. Took awhile, but I took almost NO damage this time.

This is actually part of why Odyssey is my favorite (and now most played game) ever: how you play and how you equip things makes a LOT of difference. I was shocked how easy this fight became when I changed equipment, abilities and tactics. Still tedious, but much easier.

Ι can take down Hades in seconds with zero damage taken.... Full critical damage and full resistance to damage, all mastery levels reached plus 100% engravings and Greek Heroes Legendary Set..... These are the elements for the right recipe of Demigod build.

My battle with Hades didn't even last 2 minutes and I used the same set of armor (Odysseus Set, 50% adrenaline for Hunter Abilities) that I used for most of the main game and DLCs .... The only boss fights I used different armor for was a high elemental Resistance/high chance of half damage poison build for Medusa and a high elemental Resistance/high chance of half damage fire build for Cyclops Argos, Cerberus and King Agamemnon because the fire and lava in those fights completely nerfs your poison damage and can even catch you on fire if you shoot an arrow when you are too close to them

    Fight starts around 6:30
