    Error: Bookworm-3809FFA8, Bookworm-DBEF651E, and Bookworm-4C7C267C

I just bought Far Cry 5 hoping that I could play it with my brother. However, upon trying coop mode we keep stumbling with this bookworm error.

I already perform some basic troubleshooting:
    • Restarting modem
    • enabling UPnP

Thanks for getting in contact and sorry to hear you are experiencing this, the error you’re having is a result of the connection strength between you and your co-op partner. If possible could you confirm whether you are both connecting through the same network.? Also, if possible could I advise working through these connectivity steps on both devices.?

We are both under the same network.

    Hey there,

    Thanks for letting us know!

Were you also able to give all of the connectivity steps Litten linked above a try to see if there are any changes?

Having one of you connect to a different network such as a mobile hotspot is also recommended for testing purposes.

Let us know how you get on!

I already perform some of the troubleshooting ( reset network hardware, check for software conflict, Enable UPnP, Flush DNS, Resting the host file ). However, with regards to port forwarding, my modem can't open a port even I already set it up. And we already tested connecting to mobile hotspot still receive the same error: bookworm 3809ffa8.

    Hey there,

If you're having issues with Port Forwarding, it would be advisable to contact your ISP for assistance with this.

I would also recommend performing a Trace Route
    - Win + R
    - Enter 'cmd' and hit enter to open the Command Prompt
    - Enter tracert ubisoft.com and hit Enter
    - The trace route will run itself

The purpose of this is to check for Double NAT on your network.

If the first 2 IPs in the trail are Private (192.168.xx.xx, 10.xxx.xx.xx and in some cases 172.16.xx.xx - 172.31.xx.xx) this will be an indication of Double NAT on your network.

If you don't have more than router in your home, this may be part of your ISP connection, so getting in touch with them is still advised.

If you have further questions regarding this or the results of your trace route, please contact us through our Support Site or Facebook and Twitter so we can take a closer look, as we can't discuss these results on the public forums when private IPs are concerned for your safety.

Let us know how you get on or if you have any further questions!
