That could make it last forever if they wanted, but with a pve game they would have to sell expansions adding to the story with out adding levels or give players the extra levels free to allow everyone to play on the same level in pvp an just let poeple buy the content to play when they choose u buy it. It would be interesting, it would have been like d1if they had start it by adding a mission to the game leading to dc by helicopter, the gear would have had to be the same, and they could do is with d2 just continue expanding into other states, and add more gear to the system we have now, u could recalibrate all stats but only be able to use a stat once, it would make it where u could make the build u want but u would need to put more stats back in ur libraryif that added a durability to gear u would never run out of reasons to farm gear, which is what I wish they wOriginally Posted by newkid2025 Go to original post
You have right , but destiny 2 and ievn WARFRAME ads a lott new content DLC , guns ,game modes , massive add 1 game mode in entire 9 months when DLC WONY come outOriginally Posted by TxDieselKid Go to original post
massive gives too little content at the specified time - that is the problem
no halowen ivents , no christmas ivents - the same story like div 1 have
Iven Global ivents from division 1 have 1000x times better - special vendor , classified gear sets - and because of this the players had a goal and purpose for farm with friends or alone , here you have copy paste from the league rewards , and from other global ivents the same s...t

Even an update with 4-6 classified missions could be seen as this type of content update every quarter.Originally Posted by racdavies Go to original post

But do you really want to play Division 2 forever? Why would you want this game to be the one Division game that you do play forever? I've said it before, but a Division game that is monetized forever relies heavily on the state of the dark zone, and the current state of the dark zone is heavily influenced by console hardware.
And the console hardware that Division 2 was built on is becoming obsolete.
Doesn't matter how much one despises the dark zone, its mechanics, and those that go in or the behavior that it creates. You will not get your "infinite" Division game until the dark zone "returns to normal" and that side of the playerbase is satisfied. And by normal, I mean Division 1's dark zone.
Hopefully the next Division will focus less on boring missions and more on the MMO open world style which is what the rumors i'm hearing are saying. We shall see it could all just be hype but i'm hopeful it's just a big open map to explore with new things coming regularly. The rumors also state a PVPE or PVE server you can join which would be a dream for me.Originally Posted by Merphee Go to original post
Massive could also revigorize the LZ in Division 2 by adding/rearranging loot boxes and items randomly placed around the map and adding new events that spawn.
If anything this example supports the addition of an optimization station more than not adding one.Originally Posted by newkid2025 Go to original post
Because people in gtav hit rank 120 and unlocked all the best guns and mods along with the very best car mods and engine upgrades and clothes years ago and yet despite unlocking everything and having all the best stuff still play because they add new content...
What that then suggests is that if they added an optimization station to division years ago and focused on new content instead of trying endlessly to fix the loot system people would still be playing long after they apparantly perfected there builds because there would always be new content...
All that then does is validate the opinion the optimization station should have been added a long time ago as all the time they've spent trying to address loot could have been invested in making new content...
The Optimization table was or had been requested a couple of times but right now it is up to massive on how they will implement it. When I heard the news, I was excited but suddenly lost interest as how good will massive deliver the optimization table? As most updates they are releasing are barely been tested before it became live, who knows it might break our builds either making it a lot better or worse.
