    Legion vs. Valhalla

How is it, that newest Assassins Creed game runs soooo much more smoothly than this. They did really good job optimizing Valhalla than they did with Odyssey, partly thanks to dx12. And i know, these two, Legion and Valhalla are not the same game and very different worlds etc. But still, this is just a mess. And Ubis refund policy is just terrible.

Mostly because different studio and engine I assume.

But it's shocking how smooth Valhalla is on the exact same hardware on maxed out settings, it might drop below 60 a few times but it's not even noticable. And even with no RTX support it looks ridiculously more beautiful than Legion.

Meanwhile Legion looks terrible, even with maxed out settings and RTX on, it still looks like an outdated game. And not just the visuals, but everything from animations to voice acting to features feel outdated. It can barely even get past 45FPS it seems, and it struggles to maintain a proper range so it feels extremely sluggish. Changing settings does literally nothing to improve performance.

Yep, they should have go with the AnvilNext engine with Legion too. Or Snowdrop, that plays smoothly in The Division 2 too, imo and could have worked here.. but yeah, it's mess of a game right now, thank god there is atleast Valhalla to play meanwhile they hopefully fix Legions performance problems. Waiting for the patch!
