    Clan/Friends Loosing Interest

The last 24hrs (during which time matchmaking has been pretty much dead): I’ve received messages/feedback from several clan members & friends...that until the next update comes through, they’ll be playing AC Valhalla. Some have expressed that if TU12 doesn’t come with major improvements, they may never come back.

PS: Wow! Been matchmaking for Tidal Basin going on an hour now, nothing.

Imho it is still the best looter shooter by far, despite the bugs etc etc. Play this game from the beginning/release date, and still have a lot of fun fortunately. Some guys will leave the game for sure, but a lot of them will also come back, despite their frustrations.

The optimization station is what turned off all of my friends. Why are they doing this? The kill the spirit of the game ! Its a RNG looter shooter. If they want to turn it into earnings grind to rank up your pieces than they should have done so in the beginning.

Same happening in our clan. A clan with members that have literally 400-500 dark hours clears, have cleared iron horse 50-100 times, 4 characters, etc....in other words hard core players. We try to put a raid together in our clan chat, 2-3 responses at best. Summit has not drawn anyone in and it seems to be dead other than target farming if someone wants to try a new build.

The bottom line is, there's just no fun replayable content that feels fresh and new each time. Nobody plays anything but Legendary which limits the missions and activities dramatically, and Legendary NPC's hit you so hard that you basically have to play skills, which limits the builds you can play tremendously. The reason nobody plays any other difficulty is that all our loot is maxed or close to it. Heroic loot is terrible. They NEED to at least open Legendary to all missions and activities, and pretty much at least double armor values. Only then will guys stay interested.

Better yet, once they put in the optimization stations, you'll be able to just play normal difficulty and then optimize the terrible drops.

Do you actually know how the station works? It would take a solid month to optimize a piece from normal mode. You might have to roll one piece a hundred times. Then you have to farm the in game materials and currency to do each roll.

I hope it's not as grindy as TD1 opti station but I bet it's worse. lol

I still play exclusively Heroic with some Hard/Challenge thrown in when I feel like being OP. I don't really care much for legendary other than DUA.

Enemy behavior and aggressiveness is much better in Legendary. I love they way they attack you and pursue with vengence. It feels like a real battle. What I don't like is getting melted in 3/4 of a second if I get caught slightly out of position.

To me legendary just means more of those annoying Dogs that spam nades and take 5 mags to take down, meh not fun.
