No cross save (original pc) is available on Xbox series X

    Hello,

(i've alreay created a ticket, but in my experience this results in empty promises so i'm trying my luck here..)

I've played Watch Dogs: Legion on PC and uploaded my save to ubisoft connect via [main menu] > [campaign] > [Ubisoft Connect] > Upload save.

Today i received my xbox series x (first xbox for me). I already llinked my ubisoft account to xbox, installed watch dog's legion and ubisoft connect. Started the game but there was no save from my pc, no option like on pc to download a save from ubisoft connect.

I've tried restarting the game -> didn't help
I've started a new save until i could go back into the main menu -> sitll no option to download a ubisoft connect save.

According to https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/faqs/000059540 the save should automatically be able to transfer between the platforms, but it doesn't.

Please fix this.. This is a feature of the new Ubisoft Connect platform which is advertised with. At this moment this is just an empty promise (again).

I have the same problem with Assassin's Creed Valhalla. No cross save on PC or XBox
Sometimes I have 3 save games on the xbox with a cloud symbol but all 3 are corrupt. If I delete them after a while they are back again

Melantrix I'm afraid that Watch Dogs Legion is only supporting cross-progression between console families. You can access your save progression for Watch Dogs Legion from other PCs or from Xbox one and Xbox Series X|S. I am sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

Clouseau219 Sorry for the issues you have been encountering with Assassin's Creed Valhalla. While Assassin's Creed: Valhalla can access save progression cross-platform, could you confirm if the corrupted saves originated from your Xbox or PC?

    Hello sir,

Then you should do something about marketing because this is not cross progression. This is something that was available on uplay already and wasn't new with the platform of ubisoft connect. This is just cloud save functionality.

You put the game in the market as the first game supporting ubisoft connect functionality but now you tell is it doesn't. I would urge you to reconsider this design choice and implement this, because it's borderline promising something but not delivering and advertising products without advertised functions, something the watch dogs franchise is known for...

@ubi-smash: First thx for your response. But I know the how-to cross-progrssion article. But non of my working save games, pc or xbox have the cloud symbol.
The corrupted save games with the cloud symbol should be from my pc. Because at this time I didn't had the xbox series x. And I can't delete them, they are like a boomerang, they always come back

Melantrix: Thank you for providing this feedback! I've forwarded this feedback to the appropriate teams to be considered further.

Clouseau219: I appreciate you following up with that information. We have uploaded an article that goes over how to temporarily resolve this issue while our teams continue to work on a longer-term solution. Please give this article a look when you have a moment, then let me know if the steps listed here fix this issue for you.

    @ubiexcellent

I have asked my money back. I checked again and on the DUTCH page of watch dogs legion's cross progression it does say clearly it supports cross progression between pc ánd xbox. Not ór. (https://support.ubisoft.com/nl-NL/Ar...ch-Dogs-Legion)

That and the whole semantics of CROSS progression vs progression on the same system which was available with uplay already

Ánd the whole save bug which means I have replayed missions more then multiple times because my save wasn't carried over + my progression is reset over and over again is making me feel up with the whole game. I want my money back.

Hey Melantrix. I am very sorry that you have had this experience, and I apologize for any miscommunication about cross-progression for Watch Dogs Legion. I have provided your feedback up to the Game team for further review. For a refund request, if you have not already, please create a support ticket here with our Store team. From there, they will be able to look into this for you. Let me know if there is anything else that I can assist with.

    Hi ubikobold.

Thanks for the post, I already have a ticket open (from when I created this thread even) and I've explained everything there more extensively and asked for either a refund or compensation. I'm still waiting for an answer.

Honestly, the state of the game currently asks for the same way ubisoft dealt with ac unity, or even more. A save game bug like this needs a fix or a easy workaround (like a manual save) within days, not weeks. It's literally keeps people from playing.

That's without taking into account the whole cross progression debacle.

So thank you for giving my feedback to the game devs, but honestly, if you give any feedback is that they should fix the save bug or give a working workaround asap. That's the only way people will stay, If they aren't too late yet..

    Ubisoft Support Staff,
I got my Ubisoft account linked to Xbox, I want to use the cross progression of my Watchdogs Legion game from PC to Xbox, but it doesn't redeem my saved data. The Ubisoft connect app is installed on my Xbox.
