Some things can't be fixed without a new game and it's best to make a new game with the new console hardware as a base than try to develop on outdated hardware
Have you seen the list of games that have been upgraded too 60fps on Xbox, some of them are prehistoric so i cannot see why this game that is not really that old ain't been updated.Originally Posted by Merphee Go to original post
IMO it's a big FU to the playerbase.
As has been said multiple times before, those games (i.e. R6 Siege & For Honor) have *massive* player bases, and continue to generate loads of money for Ubi. It's a simple ROI calculation.Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
A very rapidly diminishing player base it has to be said. Who in their right mind is going to purchase a brand new series X console and play a last generation game like TD2 which is best described as a bug infested train wreck of a game on it with all the new titles available? Certainly not me, that's for sure.Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
Return on investment? Yeah right, imagine buying Division 2 for the first time on next gen and seeing 30 fps... Bad publicity obviously doesn't bother UBI.
I'm guessing there is some dodgy shortcut program/interrupt timings on console that make a simple switch to 60 fps too complicated. Wouldn't be the first time either would it?
Even 60 fps on next-gen is a joke IMO.
