    Class challenges bug

Kills don't count when doing hip fire kills challenges

I just did the three kills with Pathfinder hipfire a couple hours ago, worked fine for me. Make sure you're actually hipfiring, not ADS and then toggling to the open view instead of scoped view.

When I hipfire using a SR/DMR, it didn't count. Same does with handgun hipfire (Sniper and echelon class)

Make sure you pay attention to the challenge parameter. Some hipfire challenges have a time limit (in # of seconds), headshot only, without missing a shot, and without/with being detected.
Over the shoulder aiming in 3rd person won't give you the challenge. You'll just have to time it and aim it. It'll take practice. Might take a couple of goes, but it works.

Some challenges should be worded more logically. For instance, it may say, "Kill 10 enemies in x seconds", but if you use drones and Team AI to fill part of that quota, it rarely counts. The challenges need to be more explicit.

can't complete pathfinder rank 13 challenge "hit 3 headshots from more than 200m with 3 bullets"

i have gotten over 40 headshots from 200 meters or more, been grinding the challenge from the top of the liberty airport tower with a suppressed tac50 with ballistic advantage, at that range with the height difference there is no bullet drop to compensate for

this is clearly a bug because i havent had any issues getting my other classes to rank 20

me too. Try with different gun, I have completed this yesterday with about 50+ headshot-kills before (Pathfinder class, mostly using it special-vision-mode), but havent notice / cant remember what exactly I have changed... I believe that I swithed from TAC50 to Scorpio. May be that was a reason...

I've now done both Pathfinder and Sharpshooter and had no issues with either and the hipfire challenges, using a 416 Scout or a Tac50.

@vTinzv it's my understanding that kills by AI teammates don't count. Sync shot drones do count, as long as the challenge isn't for use with a specific weapon.

@Bob...Ross you are saying you're getting three consecutive headshots? Because they have to be in a row and no misses. I didn't have any trouble with that one, and did it from the west side of the heliport on Golem using pretty much the same setup as you as far as gun/skills. I did see some comments that 'low' headshots weren't counting right, but... I did like to use Wolves for these though, since there's that definitive plink of the helmet to let you know it was in fact a headshot.

Now for my bug experience, it's been Sharpshooter 18, 30 hits on human targets without missing. I went well over 30 with the Tac50 running around the vicinity of Dead Horse Bivouac and not a single miss, couldn't get it to register. The first 15 hits were even the body part challenge (two leg then chest then head three times), and I made sure to not even take a shot at drone. I've seen others reporting this same issue, and getting the job done with an MP7 on single shot against a heavy. I'll try it again tomorrow with the Tac or maybe a DMR, and then I'll resort to the MP7 method to see if I can get it done.
