    About the new plays

Hey guys, if you meet new players in the game, will you teach them how to win the game?

For example, the watch levels below 500, or lower players

Why would you assume that a player with SHD below 500 is new?

I do my best to aid any players that join my team. However, low level, or new players only learn from us if they want to.

Here are a few handy tips for newer players who join my crew:
    1. I know when you are down. Don't keep hitting the bell as if I have no idea that you need help. I will get you up as soon as I can do so without getting killed myself.
    2. Don't open the door to the next enemy spawn area until everyone else is ready! Seriously, I will leave you dead on the floor where you belong if you run ahead of my team. This really boils my blood.
    3. When you hear "Rogue Agents" in a mission... WAIT for the rest of the team. Dead on the floor you will stay.
    4. Don't bail so fast at the end of a mission. I have good loot to share or maybe an exotic you don't have yet.

I am def needing help with Agent Keener so I can get the heck out of NY City (If I had known that I wouldn't be able to leave I would never have gone) but I am kinda 'scared' to ask for help after reading these forums and knowing how seriously some people take this game.
I often have no clue whatsoever about gear etc.and I am often left scratching my head...but...I have got to where I am by grit alone but I am at a loss as to beating this (I assume) last mission in NY.
I'm not even sure how to ask for help...I assume that I press matchmaking at the mission entrance and wait for someone to answer?
I'm on PC and I am old and senile if that helps

The Keener mission is a mthrfckr even for a lot of diehard players. I advise you to join a clan, you can ask them to help you out.

The forum is only a fraction of the player base, so don't get too hung up about these incessantly
squeaky wheels. Matchmaking will only pull in other players wanting to do the mission on story mode. If you want help then "call for backup". Hopefully, someone will reapond who intends to actually aid you.

There are plenty of folks over fifty, over sixty, and over seventy that play this game. The gear system is complicated and takes time to wrap one's head around. You will will sort it out and there is no timer on that. Play for fun. Play because you enjoy it and for no other reason. Otherwise, what is the point, really?
