Problems with your PS4 Steering Wheels? | POST HERE!

    Hello everyone,

Thank you for contributing to our previous 'Steering Wheel Issues' thread.

We have collected your reports over the course of the game being live and brought them to the attention of our QA team. Some of these issues have been fixed, while others are being investigated with the help of you, our The Crew 2 players.

Please note, at the moment, we can only offer support for steering wheels that are listed in our 'Officially Supported Wheels for The Crew 2' article, here - https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/fa...he-Crew-2-TC2/

Here is a list of known issues we are aware of with the following racing wheels -

    Logitech

G27 wheel shaking when force feedback is set to 80% - Workaround in place
    G27 gear change (H Shifter) cant reach 7th gear - Fixed Q3
G29 causing game to crash - Fixed Q2
G920 and G29 on PC steering wheel settings greyed out - Investigating
Driving Force GT causing game to crash - Investigating

    Thrustmaster

T300RS GT fine tune can not be adjusted - Investigating
T500 RS image stuttering and suffers from low FPS - Investigating
TS-PC Racer has input Lag and dead zone issues - Investigating
T80 racing on PS4 has flight problems and steering jerk - Fixed Q2

    Fanatec

Clubsport on Xbox can't use the wheel and controller at the same time - Fixed Q2
Clubsport throttle and brake pedal deadzone issues - Investigating

Some solutions to these problems, that may work for your wheel issue -

    • Unplugging the wheel and reconnecting it to your computer.
    • Remove any unnecessary USB input devices from your computer.
    • If using a PC, close down any conflicting software and try a clean boot. If you are using Logitech G Hub, this was known to cause issues with the Logitech steering wheels in the game so we would recommend closing down this software. To see our a list of known conflicting software with our games, please see this list - https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/Faqs/000025721

If you would like to help us report any issues with your PS4 wheel, please answer in this format -

    • Full name of wheel and manufacturer?
    • Platform you play on?
    • Issue you are experiencing with the wheel and when/how does this happen?
    • Last date and time you had this issue?
    • How often do you have this issue?
    • Any screenshots of your in-game settings for controls

    weak force feedback

    hi there.

great game this The Crew 2, but there is an important issue in my oppinion.

I've got a Thrustmaster T150 on my PS4 and the force feedback is so weak.
In the game setting, i've configured it to the top right of the force feedback bar, but the result is equaly a weak force feedback.

There is a way to increase it?
Or do you will do in the future?

It's a pity cause with this simple detail, the game will be a TOP driving game with a wheel on PS4

    Thanx guys

Hey Kete15, if we are able to get enough feedback and reports on this from players, this is something the game team could look into implementing in the future.

Would you be able to post a screenshot of how you have your settings set up for the wheel in the in-game menu for us to check?

    inverted gas pedal

    hello everybody,

i play with the thrustmaster t300 on my ps4 and i have a problem that i cant fix. when i play the crew 2 my in game gas pedal is what in real life would be my clutch pedal. and my in game clutch pedal is where in real life woul be my gas pedal. even if i put the cars in automatic, my gas pedal stays on the place my clutch is supposed to be. my brake pedal is at the right place. i cant find any setting that could fix this problem and i even tried rewiring al my cables. i know for a fact that this wasnt happening when i started playing the game. then i didnt play the gane for a while and when i came back, this whas happening. i also redownloaded the game and i did reset the settings to default multiple times. i really hope somebody can help with this issue.

    thanks in advance!!

Hello! I'm sorry for getting back to you so late.

The Thrustmaster T300 isn't officially supported on the PS4 platform, as per our supported peripherals support article. Although this issue did not occur in the past, it's still possible that this is the reason for the behaviour you're experiencing.

Do you happen to have a friend or family member with a PlayStation account? If so, would they be happy to launch the game and see if the same issue occurs? This would need to be on the same PS4, and the logic behind this is to determine if it is a profile / settings issue.

    Thank you!
