I have heard Division 3 is going to be a total open world game with 2 separate servers PVE and PVEP(DZ) and am very happy to hear that. Also heard it's going to be more of an MMO and would love to have a Division game with ongoing content that doesn't run dry.
First of all i disagree with you first request and here is why, I'm a PVP player and i did the raid 278 times to get the EB and have done the Iron Horse about 15 times (still haven't gotten the Exo Riffle) maybe fix the drop chance that it does not take 278 times to get a locked content but there should be locked content cause otherwise a good percentage of the community wont try the activity and believe me i loved the RAIDS.

Second i would like a link to that info but even if true i still think is a bad idea to make a PVE DZ that would be stupid and the reason for it is that this game is Iconic because of the DZ otherwise it will fall into the void and never seen again.

This game is far from iconic as far as I'm concerned. But if you want to argue that it is, it is absolutely not because of the pathetic excuse for PvP that is the DZ. The DZ is directly responsible for most of the failures of this game due to the failure of Massive to properly separate PvP from PvE and their continual borking of PvE to satisfy PvP complaints.

If this game is iconic, it is due to the open world action and visuals. Unfortunately, Massive has been screwing up that lately, too.

Well it is true that the state of PVP is in a lake at the bottom somewhere but PVE was never " borked " to satisfy PVP complaints (when is the last time we got an update)
As it pertains to "this game is not iconic for the dz but for open world action and visuals" there are wayyy better games that do those 2 things (GTA, Read Dead Redemption, Witcher....
You might think that the DZ is not the beacon of Division but name a few other games that do that.
I (and about 80% of the PVP-ers i know) bought the game for the sole reason of the DZ and for the PVEVP and if that was not the case than the marketing should have changed.
I understand it is hard to go in the dz and have a full on battle with PVP-ers when you just play PVE but some of the top PVE Division gamers that i know have said that they would never mind the DZ's PVP if it was in a good state "close to Div1 without the cheaters ofc".
Now opinions differ and thanks for sharing yours.

Yes, PvE always was crippled by PvP changes. Because every change made in one side affects the other side, the core game being single one for both modes. Now, after last major update, we have "damage to shield" changes that affects both PvE and PvP, due to shield strength is tied to armor core attributes therefore both shield and armor are affected. That's why armor acts like cardboard reinforced with toilet paper. No to mention the armor stat was broken from the very beginning and is still broken today. Separating those two game modes will solve the problem. Until then, we still have a broken game.

Thats a very good synopsis and I agree with it, the armour is a joke, I go into the DZ with 2.1m armour, blued to the max with an artificer hive or Fire Specialisation, and I get mown down in around 1.5 seconds.

Both TD1 and 2 were released in pre Alpha stage both in terms of content and quality, and I was stupid enough to buy both at launch, and I have no one but myself to blame. I will not be buying the 3rd (unless the conditions I've stated above are met of course, in which case I'll be happy to part with my money).
I ******g love you for this explanation.

Explain your statement: This should be a business model, not a more in line with the interests of players.

After many developments and release 60% of the finished product, which game is popular, get the resources there; when the profit is too low, you can reasonably interrupt the resources, and put a lot of resources on the new development (EX: Avatar)

But from the perspective of the M group of TD2, when they get a lot of resources in the early and mid-term, they will try to make some exaggerated adjustments (overtaking consumers with their own opinions). This is also in line with the corrupting power of people. Historical concept.

Different business models have their pros and cons.

We have moved into this generation, and mobile games are competing.

Not every game is like 2077 (The Witcher 3) or Red Dead Redemption 2.

The biggest thing that needs to happen is that Massive needs to listen to the players and create the game we know we want now, after 5 years of the franchise. They constantly push how they want us to play and everytime the game reaches the point where things are fun and you feel like a badass, they nerf the hell out of you or change the entire dynamics of the game. Just before warlords, builds were amazing. We felt like bad asses and could overwealm Npc's with a well oiled 4 man group. It was destruction. Now if you peek up for more than 2 seconds you're near death. Everyone has to play skills because you get ripped in half from laser accurate focus fire from multiple NPCs, etc..... remember how amazing the eagle Bearer was before they nerfed it into near insignificance? I doubt the True Son's called massive to complain we were killing them too fast. It was all PvP whiners that did that.

Bottom line, make the game FUN. Everytime it's fun, they kill that fun as quickly as they can.

Call me a simple man but I just want a game that not broken all the time. And one made from Devs that don't think their gamer base is stupid.

I hear you bud, I think that's all any gamer wants really. Apparently though this is asking way too much these days which is most unfortunate.
