I would like to see the following:
Appearance:
More human like in-depth character customization.
Have the ability to change character customization in game aswell at anytime.
In game characters/vendors/guards to have a more realistic human like appearance.
TD2 appearance mods, Keep it, great addition in TD2.
More tattoos with the option to have on both arms and legs.
Better looking apparel.....some very ugly ones in the game right now.
Better looking weapon skins.....some very ugly ones in the game right now.
Remove them trinkets, silly gimmick.
Open world:
Settlements, really don't see the point of them at end game, needs a overhaul.
Control points, give the option of legendary mode.
Classified missions, remove them or make them re-playable on all difficulties.
Side missions, make them re playable on all difficulties.
More fast travel locations.
Game location:
London, has so much potential and has all the right weather conditions.
Inventory:
Weapon stash space: 100
Gear stash space: 400
Character stash space: 200 or lower if loadouts don't effect stash space.
Recal Library:
Weapons: Keep it, great addition in TD2.
Gear: Keep it, great addition in TD2.
Mods: Create a library for them.
Crafting station:
Remove it from the game, way to much aggro than it's worth.
Shooting range:
A lot better in TD2 but needs improvement.
Vendors & Credits:
Credits drop from enemies and can be traded for caches from the vendors.
The more credits you spend the better quality items in the cache.
Perfect gear/weapons:
Maybe give weapons an extra mod slot or an increase to accuracy/stability aswell.
Maybe give gear an extra mod slot aswell.
Gear talents:
Talents on ALL pieces
Talents to synergize correctly with the gear sets/brand.
Talents to synergize correctly with weapons.
Gear mods:
Debatable of how many, needs a discussion.
Skills:
Needs a massive overhaul and fixing, way to long to talk about.
Brands/Sets:
Weapon based brands/sets need to be red rolls.
Armor based brands/sets need to be blue rolls.
Skill based brands/sets need to be yellow rolls.
We can't go through this rainbow loot problem again, it's been a thorn in this games side for way too long.
I am pretty sure that with a newly re-vamped specialization tree this can be overcome for players who wish to play with hybrid builds.
Armor & Health:
This needs to be addressed, armor and health needs to have some value in TD3
Missions & Raids:
Incursions.....Much needed and missed.
Missions......Even them out time wise to complete them, too long a mission can become boring.
Raids......1 or 2 a year for those who like raids, exotic weapons only tied to them, not gear.
Matchmaking for raids: Let a raid leader create a raid, let people sign up and let the raid leader choose who he wants to join his/her raid based on what he/she can see on each player who's signed up....i.e check their gear, commendations, etc etc.....with a option in game to private message them to ask any questions the raid leader needs to ask, i.e mic? do you have any other builds? etc etc.
Dark Zone:
I can't and won't comment on this as i don't PVP so it would be unfair for me to do so.
Activities:
All activities to have the option of legendary mode.
Loot:
Chance of god rolls.
Better rolls the harder the difficulty....This 100% has to be a priority, it needs to be implemented correctly at launch.
Targeted Loot:
This is a tricky one, it's great but flawed, i do think it needs to stay but needs a overhaul as it does not seem to work correctly in TD2.
Maybe the solution would be to have the same system as The Summit.
Major Concerns:
Hit registration needs to be a priority.
PTS:
Needs to be on all platforms, p.c and consoles.
Notes:
So much can be achieved/improved upon with changes to the following:
- Specializations
- SHD watch
- Settlements
The game needs to get the loot system perfect at launch so the dev team can concentrate on content and more exciting new gear/talents.
For way too long TD2 has suffered from the loot system, it's been a thorn in it's side since launch.
The game should not be so much about the loot system, it should be about content.....and most of all...FUN.....not work.
Anyway that's my thoughts, some or most will disagree, some might even agree.
Just my thoughts.....i'm off to sleep![]()
If all above would be implemented by an serious studio maybe we could have a good and enjoyable game. With this current studio to develop the new game... no way. This is too much for them. They failed to deliver what they've promised twice in a row, so I'm absolutely sure they'll fail third time too.
Until The Division franchise came along, I was not what you'd call a gamer.
I'd played other games in the past of course, but only on an occasional basis. I've never 'inhabited' a gaming world as much as I have the Division and Division 2.
I joined The Division in its final stages, while experiencing all the ups and downs of The Division 2.
There's all kinds of little details and changes that I'd like to see (I prefer Gear 2 over Gear 1 for example), but above all I'd like to see a more coherent and evolutionary approach to the next game.
Never having experienced 'game as a service' before, I thought it meant ongoing content, paid for DLC, bug fixing, and a steady improvement of the platform.
The abrupt changes to the way gear works along with balancing is the biggest surprise for me. I've never experienced that in a game before. While a large user base will test in ways that are difficult to predict, wasn't the final evolution of the first game not a solid place to start from?
On balance, I'm happy to give the current developers the benefit of the doubt on the more recent difficulties though. I suspect that all the core team have moved elsewhere, and the resources and time needed to do it right are decisions they don't have control over.
I don't want any gear locked behind activities, should be able to get what you want grinding where you want. DIvision 2 does a decent job of it but also locks certain things behind modes (Dark Zone and Raids)
I have heard Division 3 is going to be a total open world game with 2 separate servers PVE and PVEP(DZ) and am very happy to hear that. Also heard it's going to be more of an MMO and would love to have a Division game with ongoing content that doesn't run dry.![]()
Can you share a link to this info?Originally Posted by UMUSTBBORNAGAIN Go to original post
I’d like to see Div 1 movement come back, burst healing, 24 player Darkzone and better hit registration. Oh and I also think gun recoil should also be like it was in Div1 people should have to either spec into it or learn to control recoil. This will make for better a better skill gap. I don’t care about Pve changes as the Pve in both Div 1 and div 2 we’re fine.
It's already been shared I see in another thread but ya it's a little known youtuber who says he knows the devs so I dunno.Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
I'm hoping his info is correct.

I've heard some of that Division 3 info scuttlebutted around the intrawebz but who knows.
Take any and all "news" that you hear like that with a grain of salt, as there is zero proof other than "I've been in talks with a dev", or "I have secret info from a dev" type stuff, which can not be proved to be 100% accurate as of now. The direction they take could change drastically by release even if it was a credible source.Originally Posted by UMUSTBBORNAGAIN Go to original post
Yes, fully agree. USA locations are so over done, enough with NY and DC.Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
Besides I much prefer hearing the English accent over the American one.![]()
Another thread on this??? Cool, I'll post here....
I want a polished, not "rush to release", AAA title with a Day 1 patch that is not as big as the game it'self.
Realistically....
Needs PvE, PvP, and PvPvE. The PvPvE (DZ in particular) is a staple of the series, and is a must at this point. Not all content is for all players, so those who wish not to partake don't have to.
More specifically....
1) Story mode that takes 30-40 hours to complete, with DZ after completion of story (end game day 1).
2) 1st raid releases 60 days after release date. (Free)
3) Replayable Underground/Summit game mode 60 days after 1st raid. (Free)
4) 60 day release dates for new content post launch of re-playble game mode. (Free)
5) New content that differs between story, raid, and replay modes for 30 months post launch.
6) Year 1 and Year 2 expansion on anniversary of release date that we pay for ($25-$30 US).
7) If the game is still successful after 30 months, release Year 3 expansion that will bridge us though to D4 (2025)
8) A limited amount of recycled story mode content for end game.
9) Better cared for and thought out DZ/Live Service area that should serve as the end game for a larger percentage of the player base than exists in D2.
10) Better Game Engine. Imagine Divison being on the IW engine.... #mindblown
11) Multiple DZ's that are different sizes, a small one supporting 12, and the other that is larger supporting 24 players.
12) More abilities to share loot, and not just in those moments of them being in game (Borderlands 3 Mail Box system).
Setting: I feel like the Division series should stay based in the US. So many other games have branched off and gone the international route, but I think with how the Division series was written, it should stay in America. I do think they need to step away from the top 5-6 settings used in video games though, and step outside the box in terms of "where", while still being in the US.
