Well 150 stash was not enough for me. I was desparate to get more bag space. So i created a second character, unlocked the base quick and put around 30 pc of gear in his bag. So far so good! But now i want some of those gears back. My stash has 5 place open and i just need one gear from his bag. But i can't. The send to button in disabled and everytime i press F it says your stash is full!
Someone please tell me what to do. Btw my second char is only lvl 5. Is that someything to do with it?
Yes, the amount is level based, and maybe completed missions too. Only thing really to do is to lower the amount in the stash until you are below the threshold that character can access. Or, level it up. If you have some online friends, just join their high level game and you'll level it up fairly quickly. Or, as you said, start yet another character and get it to the base as well.
I'll give you a tip though, if you are saving a lot of non-classifieds, don't bother. Just save enough for a couple/few builds and throw the rest. Also, I've seen people keep 50+ weapons for a single character. After the initial phase of trying them each out to see what you think of them, I'd wager most people actively use less than 10 weapons the rest of the game.
I've got 4 fully optimized characters on to different accounts (8 characters total) and only have ~12 weapon pool. They each have a SMG (mostly the House), LMG, AR, bolt sniper rifle, and semi-auto sniper rifle. I keep one or two of the few good exotics such as The House, Medved, Showstopper, Big Al, and Urban MDR on the characters. Then, in the shared stash, I have the things that are situational based such as gear items like Ferro's mask, Shortbow's (great with Final Measure build), and even a couple Ninja bags for interesting combo builds. That said, due to having many variations in my gear set items, I too am out of space but not due to weapons. Also, don't store mods or weapon accessories. Put the mods on gear. I purposely save backpack and vests since they can hold the most of their specific mods. On a weapon. One weapon takes one slot but can hold numerous items.
