It's too late, the game is a dead weight now and those who called for it who played TD1 have left it for dead and moved on. It's a desperate attempt at keeping players off the new call of duty but its too little too late.

Well, since Seasons are a recycled content (basically, the only big thing was the Summit, which in reality was released only in TU 11.1).

So, there is still a chance for an Expansion.

Coz Div 3 will be dead even without the release.

    .... I pray.
no you are wrong, the NYC DZ Was supposed to be released during the WONY expansion, HOWEVER due to Lack of Development costs and time they've cut hard on content skipping any PvP related content (aka Darkzone) and only keeping the PvE aspect, they even admited the WONY missions were rushed, and the OW was riddled with bugs and not belonging stuff. from AI acting weird to spawns not working.

hearing that they did massive budget cuts on WONY already, makes me very much 100% certain not new Free Update will have as much "new" feeling as WONY did

I could have cared less for having or not having a optimization station.

I just know that adding it...now...is clear sign they are done with Div2 in terms of anything significant(content) being added.

We might get a new exotic here and there....new brands, etc....but that is it. Even the "improvements" to Summit for TU12 are mostly fluff. Nothing to address the fact that it is BORING and UGLY as can be and lacking in any of the quality mission design the rest of the franchise did pretty well.

Time to put the nail in it.

I say this constantly about social media and forums, people act like the majority of the player base interact with these when in reality its a small fraction of the base.

    To me it looks simple...

There is one more unannouced game from ubisoft for next year -> we have assasin, farcry, rainbow6, watchdogs... so it can be new Ghost Recon or Division

Season 5 is the last season according to the reddit leak so if you add 2 more seasons you have something around 1/2 of next year

If you count in COVID19 and delay I really think there was plan for DIV 3 game next march but because of COVID we will have it next Autumn...

I wouldn't call the game dead, but yes, the optimization station is the first sign of that reality to come (based on history). To me, a "dead" game is one that stops receiving major, or even mid level updates from its developers.

Comparing Division 1 and Division 2, one of these games is truly dead right now. I'm all aboard the Division 3 hype train tho, because that's the game they can service to be a Destiny 2..

    SO?

I mean it's not as though every piece of content has been played to death 1000 times and people are doing it with non maxed gear.

Max God rolled gear won't make any difference if it was attainable via an Optimization station, all we'll be doing is playing the same tired old sht with slightly better gear. The same old boredom/repetitive gameplay will be exactly the same over and over and over whether it be max/god rolled Optimized gear or not.

Nothing is changing or will change.

So the Optimization station literally means nothing.

I can literally complete every piece of Heroic content without optimzed/max/god rolled gear (i don't have a single min/maxed build) so the content will be exactly the same now as it will be after an Optimization station is introduced.

I doubt i'll ever use it., because i don't need to. for the Heroic content i play.

As far as I can tell, you can only optimize existing attributes, you can't change them to an attribute you want. So there's still the need to get the attributes you want on any particular piece. You just won't have to suffer with low rolls on the perfectly attributed piece anymore.
