Yes! this is what i really want.
No! It will consume the life of the game, I need really new content.
Officials seem to officially give up the game? Prepare for TD3
I am optimistic about the future of TD2.
Straight up most people I know and even a lot of what you read on reddit is people leaving the game because of the sheer amount of rng meaning they can never actually finish builds or complete anything and being frustrated.Originally Posted by Sgt.Danielle Go to original post
Had the optimization station been added months ago and they focused on adding new content instead of endless loot changes then I'd wager a good number of them would still play.
There's a sense of satisfaction when you actually finish something or complete something and its rewarding which not only keeps players playing but also makes the game more fun as they can then focus on the next build idea they have and the next and so on instead of being frustrated all the time as theycan never progress. And with a continuous supply of new content instead of those loot changes and tweaks the game today would be much much healthir and likely have muchmore to do.
However as in its current state most players have been incredibly frustrated for months and months because they can't make progress and actually complete there builds and no amount of loot changes will address that issue once you get past a certain point.
When your rolls are 25% getting upgrades is easy as pie...
When you're rolls are 50% its a bit harder.
When your rolls are 75% getting anything thats an upgrade is very rare. And
At 85-90% its borderline impossible to get an upgrade and that has driven more players away from the game than the optimization station ever could or would have.
Many players including myself have so many bits of gear in the stash that we'll use on a build idea we have one day. however that day never comes as players can never finish the builds we already have. the optimization station has the potential to add a whole new wave of life to the game by allowing the developers to then shift there focus to actual content whichis why they honestly should have added it ages ago.

Farming gets old when you have build ideas. It's literally the WORST part about making new builds. This allows us to not have to stomach Summit on Legendary with 5 directives to get decently rolled gear to play around with. Now we can optimize the build how we want without wasting literally days/weeks looking for one particular piece.
No, I do not have a "great feeling" when I find a piece of gear I have been looking for. I have that "great feeling" while using the gear in a build. Anyone who enjoys farming endlessly at SHD level 1,000+, good for you, but you are a rarity.
Farming is not end game content. Farming is farming FOR end game content.Originally Posted by newkid2025 Go to original post
When you have all builds fully optimized finally it's time to play for fun. That's why Division 1 is still full of players with fully optimized builds that play just for fun. You know, fun is the reason for playing games. Massive didn't learned this by now.Originally Posted by newkid2025 Go to original post
The DZ was a lot of that "fun" and I wish Massive would have learned that lesson also.Originally Posted by darkzone.RO Go to original post

That's when it's time to challenge yourself/teammates with raid/heoric/legendary speed runs, and other stuff like that.Originally Posted by Sgt.Danielle Go to original post
