This may or may not have been asked previously, if so..... mia copa. Nonetheless, has there been any news on which "version" of Evor will be the canon version. I'm aware we can change genders on the fly, an since ubi has gone full on RPG, was curious as to which gender is considered the "Cannon Gender". As I know in AC Oddessey, Kassandra was considered the canon character.
Thanks in advance...

From what Darby McDevitt said in an interview with youtuber Jayvee, both male and female are canon, but to get the true canon story, when you select your character at the beginning you should select the "Let the animus decide" option. During the game you will end up playing as both male and female Eivor, but you don't control when they switch.
Valhalla will try to handle the canon and lore better then Odyssey has I heard.
They stated that both genders are canon and that they used and clever trick for that wich will also be an important thing of the story, not like the weak DNA thing Odyssey had. They Animus decide thing will switch between the genders when the story need it. Maybe this hints that both genders are the same person? In one week we will know.
About the choices in the game Darby explained that all choices that require the charisma system level will be the CANON choices.
Sorrosyss had a pretty intriguing theory in their review of the first Valhalla comic.
I wouldn't say it's necessarily a spoiler (because obviously no one knows yet) but I think it's pretty solid speculation- just warning!
