WD Legion Cloud Saves Not Uploading From X1X to PC?

    Hey there,

I'm wondering if I can get some support on an issue I'm experiencing.

I'd like to make use of the Cross-Progression feature that's part of Watch Dogs Legion, by way of Ubisoft Connect Cloud Saves. My intention is to carry my current X1X Campaign progress over to my PC copy of the game and continue playing there.

My Ubisoft Connect account has my PS4 and X1X accounts linked properly. I've verified this on my Ubisoft Connect Account Management page.

Yet, when I log into WD Legion on PC, with an internet connection, using my Ubisoft Connect account, I cannot use the Campaign menu Continue option, or use the Cloud Save buttons to import anything. I've also verified that my X1X is connected and signed into my Ubisoft Connect account (via the X1X Ubisoft Connect app). There's a Support FAQ article here, stating that X1X automatically uploads Cloud Save data.

Am I missing anything? Is the feature currently not working as intended? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hey soultron_! Thanks for posting about this issue you're having with accessing your save data for Watch Dogs: Legion from your Xbox One on your PC. At the moment, cross-progression is only enabled between platforms of the same family, so between various launchers on the PC and between the Xbox One and the Xbox Series X|S. I'm very sorry for any confusion caused by the wording on that article, but I do appreciate you bringing this up.

I have the same problem, but to be honest i don't accept your explaination as solution..

according to this article: https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/faqs/000059540 cross-progression is:
"Watch Dogs: Legion supports CROSS-PROGRESSION for its single player campaign, so you can carry your progress between different platforms!"

How can you say that there is cross progression when progressions stay's within the platform? That's not cross progression, that's just plain progression (and was already possible before Ubisoft Connect...)

This is a clear bug and should be fixed.

I agree with the above. Saying "Cross-progression" and limiting it to only the same console, isn't really cross-progression. Xbox already does this automatically, this should really be changed and added in. I purposely bought Watch Dogs Legion on my xbox series X to cross play to my PC when I upgrade my GPU. I even bought Ubisoft + on PC for it. This needs to be added in

Hey Melantrix and Funopoly! I certainly understand where you both are coming from, and have informed our teams that the wording on this FAQ could be clearer. I'm extremely sorry for the disappointment and misunderstanding caused.

I’m confused why this is limited still, and the FAQ isn’t any clearer and still misleading. It’s also presented on Ubisoft Club that we can still access the game from the PlayStation. I have AC Valhalla for the PS4 as well, subbed to U+, and those saves actually transfer over automatically. Why isn’t WD Legion able to do the same when the games were released around the same time?

I also cannot even pull up my save from my console to upload it to the cloud for whatever reason.

Hi Br1arin! I am very sorry for the confusion this has caused. While I don't have any further information to share at this time, please know we have shared this feedback with our team to review the FAQ so they can help provide a much clearer understanding.
