So....this might of worked....going to test it again, but im back on the main menu after doing this.

IF YOU DONT know how to do this, here are instructions...

(JUST MAKE SURE TO CHANGE IT BACK!!)
    Right-click on the taskbar.
Click on the Task Manager option.
In the Task Manager, switch to the Details tab. ...
Right-click on the program for which you want to set process affinity.
Choose Set affinity from the menu.
It will open the Processor affinity window.

Hate to say this...and ive tested it different ways...but the affinity thing actually does work...hrmm...even fully exited game..came back in..and yup, save is exactly where I left it off...*shrugs* I dont know if others can test this as well, or if this is not a good way to do it, but it does work for now...saves game fully...puts you back on main menu....can load from there to test, or quit game fully bring back up, load from there...it all worked. Others should test....JUST DONT FORGET to put it back to alll cores when back on main menu. Cheers to NChabb

You only need to set to 1 core after you pressed "back to main menu" and while its loading back to the main menu you can already enable all cores again.

    i can´t agree more.

had lots of crash issues, one savefile (8h of gaming) is corrupted. started again.. freed nearly all parts of london, game crashed again... and after loading back in my progress was right back at the 3rd part of london again. again multiple hours wasted.

its pretty bad having those crashing issues, but not being able to save/quicksave is the worst part of this game. i could understand that in ironman mode/permadeath, but just playing it on normal this should be impremented. especially with the issue of crashes.

i did put up some hope into this game, and was dumb enough to preorder Assassins Creed Valhalla. and right now i think ill be disappointed again most likely.

what´s just wrong with quality testing of all those big Gamecreators lately?!?

I am 100% NOT messing with my processor core settings to get this game to save. That's ridiculous. Plus, it only works if you get to quit out, and the game doesn't just randomly crash, which is how most of my sessions have ended.

This needs to be fixed immediately. Get someone in on the weekend, pay them overtime, and fix it! And track down whoever let this critical issue slip by and leave the game unplayable. That person should not be in charge of anything ever again.
