Yeah none of the settings except the RTX ones will do anything to framerate for me. I turned the game to the lowest possibly resolution, lowest visuals, lowest rendering quality, to the point I could literally not see what's on the screen because the quality was that bad. And it STILL ran like 30-45 FPS. Like what the hell.

Your not going to get 60 FPS with 4K. People just dont realize 4k has 4 times as many pixels at 1080p. It requires 4 times as much processing to display. 60 FPS in 1080p = about 15 FPS in 4k. SO my question is do you think your GPU can deliver 240 FPS at 1080p. Even at 40 thats equal to about 160 FPS in 1080P. 60 FPS 4k is still a dream with the newest GPUs with some of the latest games although it can be achieved in older games.

They better fix the optimisation, it's absolutely terrific right ow

    Same same

I have the same issues except in first mission and when looking at the map. When looking at the map, my GPU load goes to +90% and CPU load stays around 50-60%. So please, do whatever you did in the first mission and map screen and copy paste it everywhere else thanks!

    Specs:
    6700k 4,6Ghz
    3080 Strix OC
    16Gb 3600Mhz
    Fuckton of rgb fans.

Most idiot post 2020. If only the GPU could be able AS IT SHOULD BE to work in full load condition, 4k with DLSS could be an easy job. Your math theory is simply absurd and you are not even considering the existance of DLSS.

FYI, Death Stranding, Horizon zero dawn, AC Odyssey, Control (RTX Ultra), Metro (RTX); they all run smoothly 4k@60 ultra details. SO pls shut up, it's quite clear you do no know anything about PCs and you don't even ever played such games with RTX Nvidia videocards.

Changing various GPU settings alter the stress the GPU is under, but dont change the FPS.

    Look at this GPU usage chart for my 3080 running with 16gb ddr4 3200 RAM and a Ryzen 2 2700 8 core 16 thread @ 4ghz

as you can see with everything maxed apart from RTX, get fairly mediocre 50-60 fps. However GPU is only 70-80% utilized

Turn on RTX, fps stay about the same (drops slightly) , GPU usage rockets

Now turn on DLSS with RTX on and FPS stays the same at 40-60 fps, but GPU usage drops again. Whole point of DLSS is to remove work from the gfx card to allow it to pump out more fps!

So heres the FPS when GPU is maxed with RTX on DLSS off

Now, for giggles, same settings but lets drop the resolution from 1440p to 720p, man, my FPS should skyrocket!!

Wait, what? FPS still hovering around about that 40-60, GPU usage dropped to 60%

That season pass money is fast vanishing from your pockets Ubisoft. Won't be shelling out any money with the game in this poor state
Very useful post mate, hope it can helps UBI to fix the game and make things even more clear for everybody

Aenor7...Your the idiot if you dont understand basic math...Dont be calling other people names when you dont know what your talking about. 4 times the pixels is 4 times the pixels. You think DLSS only works at 4k. All of those are older and way less demanding games. In some cases console ports. Some people know nothing but rudeness however.

Ok now try yo write it without crying in front of your 1080p monitor.

Probably you are a ubisoft fanboy, in any case the fact you still don't understand what is the cause of the problem that afflict all of us prove my point, I.e. you know anything about PC, despite your silly moron math.

Ps: control with rtx a less demanding game 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

That is wrong, it can be due to optimisation.
Dont know who is expecting a patch but this exact same issue also happened with WD2 and for me it still happens to this day...i play everything at +70 EXCEPT Ubisoft games; specially WD, WD2 and this one.

First the game still looks great with ultra reflections and rtx off, rtx looks AWESOME but disabling it would only be “insane” for the typical spoiled kid who loves bragging.
this game just happened to be out or about to be launched when your card box was manufactured, the game being a gift, in the box or on the main page for the controller update page means nothing more than publicity, you cant expect anything from that fact, specially when everyone knows RTX flagship is Control until Cyberpunk arrives...

He's right. This game is not optimized well. A well optimized game will push your GPU when it needs to. This is why you get horrible frame pacing and constant dips when cruising around the map. The GPU is throttling for no reason. CPU is also not utilized efficiently. DX11 bottlenecks my i7 9700K while using 65-70% of my 2070 SUPER and DX12 uses about 45-60% out of each core at any given time. Deux Ex Mankind Divided somehow uses DX12 more efficiently. lol.
