[Crash/Freeze]Can't quit the game properly (main menu works too slow) | Forums

The whole game works ok (for a ubisoft game ofc, poor optimization still), but when I want to close the game escape menu just freeze after clicking "exit to main menu".
I mean it still has audio on the background and that little saving icon in the cornes does its stuff, but it took like 2 mins for it to actually exit to the main menu. And then for a couple of minutes I just cant do anything in it, the same strange "freeze" even there. And only after 2-3 minutes of waiting it finally lets me push the exit button.
Does anyone have the same problem?
I tried to exit the game using alt+f4 but "surprisingly" I lost almost 30 mins of progress, so its not a solution, neither is waiting 5 minutes every time I want to close the game.

Kinda did that to me day one. I had to wake up my keyboard... as i am using a controller to play this. After doing so alt tabbing back to the game the menu would reactivate.

Yeah? Try again now! You want to go back to the main menu, endless loading and tabbing out and back in is going to fix this? No it wont...maybe your alt+tab behaviour is different from all those others having the problem, lol.

It has to do with the size of the savefile beeing at least over 800kb.

I'm glad that it fixed the issue for you but unfortunately alt tabbing does nothing in my case:с
