I was teetering on WDL----but I'm out now (especially given the widely reported ongoing PC performance issues). Maybe when it gets to the bargain bin. If there is one thing GRB has taught me---it's Caveat Emptor------be VERY wary of pre release Ubi PR claims and design choices.
Yeah, I'm backing away from this one as well. When I saw this at E3 I thought it looked cool. Once again over promised and underdelivered.

Lol Breakpocalypse! 🤣 I even read one review that said BP launch was better. I thought about that and despite the all disappointment surrounding BP I can say I still have had a lot fun with the time I put into this game.

Just makes me realize that we don't need a new Ghost Recon. Ubisoft just doesn't learn. I think we are just better of having Ubisoft stick with BP just making patches and bug fixes that are community driven.

Maybe one day UbiBlush will be ceo and then
there would be a chance at a great GR game but until then BP it is.

I wonder, then how much worse the game was had they decided to launch it when they had it schedule to do? I thought, well, ok, with the turd we have learn to love and called Breakpoint delaying all of these other games, they will be in a much better state then but it appears all they did was go home, do nothing and blame everything on the Covid-19.

Awesome, a typical day in UBisoft World.

Was probably always offline, with live disservice, and servers that didn't functioned quite well after each update.

I agree. I don't have the game but I seen a post requesting to shoulder swap. A player said he had to change walls while in combat to get a good aim. Its like Ubisoft post launch patches is just to add things that should've been in the game to begin with. In a third person shooter its critical for the player to swap shoulders even in cover. The camera is very important and for pvp its a must to lock camera while sprinting. Either Ubisoft do this to be funny or rush to release a unfinished game to do the rest for post launch.

The issue of rushing games (the several months delay of WDL not with standing) into release seems (to me) to be an unfortunate and counter productive institutional Ubi paradigm, as well as corporate myopia.

Aaaaahhhhhhhh the wonderful gaming year of 2014. Except for Ubi. Far Cry 4---somewhere between 10-12 patches to fix all the issues. The original Watch Dogs---some where between 8-10 patches, and let us not forget what a universally hailed game AC Unity was by the gaming community------------how many patches was that? Not sure as I fortunately didn't buy that one.

Fast forward to GRB and now the delayed AND POLISHED WDL. Maybe it's just me, but I'm thinking there is an Ubi corporate DNA that needs some genetic engineering up at the top, before the situation gets better.

“Yes, we’ve got ‘em ponytails.” - says a drunk WDL rep amidst braid controversy.

    @Ice-Quinn

Well my, that's one surprisingly human looking and blinged out ponytailee.
Are those shades to prevent us from making eye contact with Death itself?

PS: That woodland camo on her shirt looks better than it's equivalent in BP.

Ubi used to have good DNA. I think it skipped this generation. These current guys don't have a clue how to make a stable/decent game. Its a good thing Ubi isn't 1st party. Do you know how bad if Xbox, PS, or even Nintendo would look if they destroy they games like this. If Ubisoft made they own console with these titles as 1st party their sells will dropped tremendously. If they keep following this path eventually everyone will catch on. Only a matter time. I bet AC Valhalla will be the nail in the coffin or R6 Quarantine.

    1. Due to the Breakpoint pre-order ripoff (they promised a lot and delivered a different and bad game) and took my over 100€ payed without refunding for it, I now and in the future will never pre-order any Ubi game again.

    2. Further more I will never pay full price for Ubi games that seem to be good anymore.

    3. If one of their games seems good, I wait till it is cheap in sales some months later, then also the most bugs are probably solved.

    4. So I have not bought WD Legion and I will not buy/pre-order Valhalla yet soon.

Why? Because I want not to stimulate bad practise Ubisoft is showing. If I keep buying they will definitely not change. And If I do not buy I also do not have to be disappointed about games that not meet expectations.

Customer trust and locality is a valuable thing. Ubi management should know this, If they do not they should learn it. If they do not want to learn it, they will loose customers and profit. Money I spend at competitors games, I cannot spend at Ubisoft. I only can spend my money once.
