And i have to say that quite a few of those PS exclusives are really great games.

There are also PC exclusive games that console players will never get to play.... Not to mention old MAME32 games from the 90s or 80s.

Well, no surprises here. What does the general console gamer want? Games and a chilled experience. No troubles. Playstation is known for astounding build quality, most users still are on their original consoles or maybe on an updated pro version. There was no red circle of death or the likes.
Furthermore, the average user does not care about 1 or 2 extra teraflops. They see games look better. Check. They see they now seem to load instant. Now that's appreciated - check. New exclusives, starting at launch with a lot following suit soon? Check.

Now for XBox, you miss exclusives. You might reach PC gamers that are on a budget. You might reach Console gamers that are into tech and want to have the better graphical performance in cross platform titles. But those do not make up the bulk.

On a personal level, I think the build of the XBox and a lot of thought that went into it is superior to the Playstation. But Sony was just more clever this time around. They give more people what they want in a conservative, rather big but still efficiently working package. That is welcomed by hella lot of people, like really, no surprises there.

And now you have to pay a 10 dollar Sony Tax on their exclusives ...... That's a 17% increase in cost per exclusive game ......

So in order to play maybe 2 games that interest me I have to spend $500 for the console and another 20 bucks for 2 games ...... They are getting to be as ridiculous as Apple

I predict in 2-3 years there will be a fairly high rate of failure because of the liquid metal ...... While it might impress those who don't actually know anything about it but those of use that are engineers or PC overclockers that have used it know it has limitations and a high maintenance rate ...... It tend to hydraulically migrate out for under the heatsink and if it breaches the containment Sony is using 3 things are going to happen.

    1. The APU is going to overheat and burn up
    2. it's highly conductive and will short out the VRMs/power delivery
    3. It's corrosive AF to aluminum and will eat through the solder on the PCB
Anyone one of these things happening means a complete replacement and a total loss
