That's a shame because it's a better game than Unity ..... It's the first game to introduce the Ability Tree ,,,,, It's the first game where you didn't climb anything you accidently bumped into, you actually had to push a button to climb which makes parkour a lot more fun and less frustrating

There is no money is selling game consoles anymore, they are giving them away at cost

Well, AMD must make some money since both Xbox and PS use AMD hardware only.... Nvidia and Intel were kicked out of the console market.

It suffered not only because of Unity's disastrous launch but also Watchdogs downgrade fiasco.

In terms of the game...Well the story and characters were as bland as it gets (even more so than Unity) and the combat couldn't feel more clunkier and more disjointed. The few good points were London as a whole (yet having the game set ENTIRELY there killed its magic) and some of the assassinations.

Worst main AC game by a huge margin to me. At least I enjoy combat in Unity.

Nvidia and Intel were never really in the console market ...... Hard to get kicked out of something you were never really a part of .....

Nvidia and Intel skipped over the low margin consumer markets (except the PC) to focus on the much higher margin professional and industrial markets ..... While Intel is losing ground in the consumer PC markets they still have the lion's share of the server market ..... AMD isn't really much competition there (yet but they are making moves) but Nvidia is become a big player .... For instance AMD's total sales in 2nd quarter 2020 was about $9 billion while Nvidia netted $7.5 billion in cloud server sales alone .... That is real reason why there is a shortage of consumer graphics GPUs ..... Nvidia can make 8 102 GPUs put them in 8 graphics cards and make a total of $6400 in sales ..... or they can make the 8 A100 GPUs which the 102 GPUs are based on and put them into a cloud server computer and make $199,000 (Microsoft alone ordered 1250 of them, Amazon and Google also ordered a bunch)) ...... That's why there is a shortage of 102 GPUs right now the sales of the A100 GPUs for clouds servers exploded this year (168% increase over last year) and it simply came down to a choice .... make a LOT of money cranking out A100 GPUs or make a little money cranking out 102 GPUs .......

Nvidia is way more than just a consumer graphic card maker anymore and their Market Cap is currently larger than AMD, Intel and Sony combined

But we are not industries, we are consumers.... Intel Xeons are a joke at this point. AMD threadrippers are better solutions even for servers. They are more powerful and far less expensive than Intel products. I am reading reviews all the time, written by professionals. I remember some of them from the biggest retailer in Greece. The pro consumer wrote that he bought the best Intel Xeon for his business, paying 12k euros and then AMD made a super Threadripper (cant remember the model) which was 2 times more powerful and efficient but it cost 3 times less (around 4k euros).
So the consumer warned everyone to be careful because the market changes dramatically and AMD makes more sense than Intel at this point in the CPU market.

And now this.... The new AMD graphics cards for gamers compete against the new Nvidia flagship (RTX 3090) for 500 bucks less... AMD has pro GPUs as well.

I think this is partly due to the PlayStation being older and Sony being a reliable, trusted electronics brand in general through the years.

Unless MS makes the Xbox do something truly extraordinary and ahead of our time... I think people will continue to stick with Sony and the tried and true PS.

Love these Xbox is better than PS or vice versa, play the platform you like, and enjoy it. I have the PS, have alway's had the PS, and will alway's have the PS because i find the controller more comfortable than the Xbox one. Another plus for the PS is one Play Station Plus card does all the online stuff for all the accounts on the PS.

I also think it has something to do with the exclusive games that the PS is more popular then the Xbox. Because Xbox has no exclusive games and that's understandable of course.

And i have to say that quite a few of those PS exclusives are really great games.
