did not expect game to run so poorly unplayable hoping for a refund

I bought the game this morning and downloaded it when i opened it the game was unplayable after I got past the initial tutorial constant freezing and stuttering any time I took a step I put all the texture settings to low and opened the game again and had the same problem can't even drive a car to get past the first mission I'm not blaming the devs for this I'm just hoping I will be able to get a refund because I cannot play the game

    Seriously !!
Am really sick of this complaining !!

My old PC AMD FX9590 GTX980 can run this smooth all high 30-40 fps 1080p

And you say that you can't even play it ?

You must have really old crap rig loaded with bloatware !!

Also good luck getting refund !

    https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/Faqs/000043743

How do I request a refund for my digital product?

    ANSWER:

You can request a refund for a digital order within 14 days of your purchase, as long as the content has not been launched.

I know 30-40 is not great. But still better than expected. And don't have any crashes or freezes.
Also am not exaggerating that I can't play the game cause of it, just like OP does !!
I have seen many people been trashing on Ubisoft games for no reason.
And OP seems to be one of them

Dude no need to get defensive about this poorly optimized game, and yes it does run like ****, I have an RTX 2070 I7 8700k rig and I'm still dealing with stutter even in high and without raytracing and with DLSS on, so yeah this game is a mess and he has a right to ask for a refund he bought it with his own money, next time learn to be nice to people I see you are a long member here so you should set an example not attack people having trouble, smh.

It's a good thing I don't run this forum because I would tell everyone who bought the game off Epic or Steam to piss off and get off this forum with those complaints because they don't belong on here. UBISOFT is not responsible or required to fix Steam and or Epic related problems, which is where almost every complaint on this forum belongs. if you bought the game on Epic or Steam then people's complaints belong on those perspective forums.

I counted only 5 actual real complaints on this entire form so far, and by legitimate, I mean the people that did not buy the game on Steam or Epic.

The problem with the clowns complaining about the game is the same thing that's been happening every single launch, of every single game, in the past 10 years. These people buy the game from Steam, and now Epic, then complain it's UBISOFT's fault when something happens.

Their mentality on the issue is the same as buying a used vehicle from a second hand car lot, then when something is wrong, it's the car manufactures fault. Every one complaining has been doing the exact same thing for years, and they still fail to get the concept that All Steam/epic launchers do is launch UPLAY then sit doing nothing. These are the same people who overload a game with mods, then complain their game broke, and argue it isn't the mods and the developer should fix the game and will literally argue the mods didn't cause the problem.

They cause a game to now require more DRM on top of the already existing DRM, and almost all of them play the game at settings their comp cannot handle.

If you think I'm kidding, do a google search on every UBISOFT release in the past 10 years that come on Steam/Epic and take a look at the results.

I have the game though Uplay.

Heres my performance. 1280x720. Only Avg 77 FPS with settings all almost the lowest they can go with an i7-7700k and RTX 3080. I would never play the game at the resolution but if I want 60 FPS+ gameplay I'd have to.
